Umm, how much time did Skip have to assemble a staff and recruit in year 1?
Most of the time he was here was a dead period.
Are you DVRing it?
Out of curiosity, has anyone looked up how teams normally do when they start at least 4 new guys at OLine with a new QB? For the teams that were even moderately successful under such circumstances (if any), I would also be curious to know how good they were on defense.
I looked it up and put it in another thread somewhere. There was only 1 other team in the nation who lost 7 starters on offense, their QB, and their coaching staff. It was Western Michigan. They went 1-11. Tech's offense fell from #1 to #95 and WMU's fell from #38 to #110.
But since the sample is so low, maybe Western Michigan just made a bad hire too. What is undeniable is that very few teams (just 2) lost this much from their 2012 team.
