Despite my pro-Central and South American immigration views, the Syrian issue is precisely why I opposed Obama's immigration executive orders. I think his idea was a very good one, but he should not be allowed to do it on his own. Once he unilaterally decides one group can get in, he can do the same for another. Congress is supposed to decide who comes in and from where.
