As far as chicken fingers go, Zaxbys is more expensive and not as good as Canes. There's a few more things I want to try before totally writing them off though. If there was a Tech wall, I didn't notice.

A small lake would probably be better.

I'm guessing you say this because of the lack of alcoholic choice everywhere else? Grilling seems pretty well covered, but a decent option never-the-less.

Nope. A local bakery, without the corporate feel, but competitive with Panera Breads and Corner Bakerys of the world.
FYI a group of us are about to try and fix this one.

they have pics from 1896-1950's of Ruston and Tech sports teams covering the walls, and have two pieces Tech logo'd stuff on the wall.

that would be a very nice addition to Ruston. Specialty breads are very hard to come by in our area...

I guess it's just a matter of personal preference--I think Zaxby's chicken fingers are better.

I am thinking of a place with good dry-aged and prime steaks. Is that already covered somewhere?

My advice....
Go to Traina's Bakery in Jonesboro, La. IMO, the best whole filet around. Buy the meat for $100, cut to your liking, cook to perfection at home, and feed 15 people.

Does anyone know what is going to be built at the Holiday Inn location? Also next door to Sears?
Re: Peanut Buckets Coming to DAWGTOWN
Also what is going on on the SE corner of Alabama and Trenton downtown--where Pieworks and various other restaurants have been? There was a construction dumpster in the side street forever and looked like some renovation going on, but it's gone now.

IMO, it looked like it was just being remodeled so the owner could sell it better
