I've noticed lately that folks who have a GPS stuck to the dash seem to be among the worst drivers.

GPS makes you stupid, or at least completely divorce yourself from all critical thinking skills. I have twice been in the car with someone following a GPS who continued following hte GPS turn-by-turn directions even though you could physically SEE the destination was in the OPPOSITE direction. :shocked2:

i can personally vouch for the effect gps has on the brain. if i drive somewhere for the first time following someone's directions, i have no problem finding my way back again. in fact, i can usually even figure out alternative routes with the map i build in my head while driving there. the first time i ever used a gps, i had to use the gps again just to find my way back to the place i had come from.

Oh. I thought it might have been someone we were after, but I couldn't find any mention of him anywhere.

I turn 50 in a few weeks. When I asked the cashier for a can of snuff this morning she carded me.:shocked2: Probably bad eye sight, but I've been told I'm holding up good for my age.:icon_razz:

I'm sure you weren't at Wal*Mart, but they are required to card you (no matter how old you are). I had to get my DL out to buy WD40 this weekend...seriously

What, exactly, were you holding up when you got that compliment?
