There was a time most flights coming from China, Japan, Korea and that region were routed thru Anchorage. But now with jets like the Boeing 767 and 777 they can fly further on a tank of fuel and don't have to make that stop anymore, thus direct flights to the west coast is common today. I don't know if a flight could originate in China and fly all the way to NY nonstop. Anyone know?

Bottom line...

Due to density issues in other areas of the country those of us who are not living in dense areas must adapt to situations that don't involve us.

Will things get bad in Miami, Atlanta, Houston, DFW, and Chicago? New York City bad?

Apparently we can throw New Orleans out the statistic gathering data.

Also, even though they may fly in to California is that their destination point? They could just fly from California to New York or any other place. Would definitely take some tracking.

Pretty sure it was tracked weeks ago, which is why the California numbers were expected to be so high. Washington state has 5000 cases. California has 6000ish.

What happens anywhere in the world with respect to this disease will impact us until we get it under control via widespread rapid testing, treatment, or vaccine.
