It used to be the only thing required for a thread to die was to have Soonerdawg post to it, but that seems to have changed and now requires my posting to accomplish that feat.

If I was going to create a college football playoff, I would use the 4 BCS bowls as an 8 team playoff. This would add one week to the season (a final four). Leave the rules for qualification as is, so that a school from a non-AQ conference can actually have a chance to play for a national title in the division they’re supposedly competing in. The rest of the bowl games could remain as well, as they don’t really mean anything significant anyway.

I have. He was part of a C&W show featuring Merle Haggard at the Monroe Civic Center in the early 70's. All I remember was Tanya Tucker. She was about 15 and I was about 5.
