Here are a couple of positive things YOU posted: "We probably have the worst SPECIAL TEAMS that I've seen in the last 20 years here at Tech. We can't reliably kick FG's, we can't punt in key situations (as exemplified yesterday) and our kick/punt.." and " Whoever called the plays last week (Holtz?) needs to have the playbook taken AWAY from them. Permanently." OK, I guess it's a do as I say, not as I do thing. Or maybe that was just the appropriate time to say those things?
You've got too much time on your hands.
My criticism of our special teams play and our play calling was in reference to issues that our team needs to correct NOW, especially if we expect to win a CUSA championship. Your post, on the other hand, is more suited for the off season. Can't you see the difference?

Holtz has done a great job this year, but he's calling plays with Sokol at QB, not Higgins/Young. Peterson would almost certainly have more success calling plays with this year's offensive personnel vs the hand he was dealt last season.
Dixon healthy enough to start every game this season (averaging 20 touches/game) behind a better and more experienced O-line, and better QB play leading to more production from WRs have definitely made Skippy's job a little easier.
That said, not taking anything away from the job Holtz has done. Just stating that it's hard to evaluate Peterson given last year's youth and inexperience.

I agree with you. I was just wondering who's going to call plays next year.

Hopefully, whomever Manny Diaz hires as his offensive coordinator.

Diaz would be a great O coordinator. He would punt on first down just to watch what's he passionate about. Aggressive D.

My main point is that what is discussed on these boards has zero effect on the play of the players or the decisions of the coaches. The off season is not that far away, by the time it gets here, the people making the decisions have usually have already announced what they will do. If you don't like what is posted, move on. You decided to call out the "new poster" and dictate what should and shouldn't be discussed on this board. Unless you're an admin and have rules posted about when things can and can not be posted, just move on, instead you tried to call me out. Some people wanted to discuss who is and isn't leaving (and also Griff's for some reason).

At one time, I could eat a Monster Meal, fried mushrooms, large chocolate shake three times a week and not gain weight.

Yep, I used to order a whole muffaletta from Cushino's, delivered to the dorm at 10 oclock at night and still weighed less than 150. Those were the days.
