Our defense is slow. Holtz was here 9 years and the guy starting at QB wasn’t on the team last year. Goes to show just how bare Holtz left the cupboard in Ruston. I look for this year to be a lot like Dykes first year in Ruston.

For three years I have been advocating for Griffen Hebert to be our "go-to guy." I'll just mention it one more time here. :icon_roll:

I'm aware there are growing pains and I'm aware Holtz left an upper-decker in the plumbing, but damn I thought we'd do better than this. So many self-inflicted wounds.

Do away with stopping the clock after 1st downs would be a start to shortening the games.
