I think it is a fairly accurate statement - where were these "fans" when they were winning the SEC west for the second strait year and winning the SEC outright this year?
I think what Brady has done down there is remarkable - especially since the team is mainly local kids recruited a stone's throw from campus -

I agree 100% with that statement DFM. We can say that thing right here at home as well.

It irks me to no end the people who want to do this and do that - but NEVER put their money where thier mouth is -
We really need to get out of the mid 80's and realize this is 2006 and that will soon be 3 decades ago -
Times have changed tremendously and they will NEVER go back again -

Don't bust a gut funnyman. I wonder if your vocabulary is extensive enough to come up with a word to substitute for FEAR to explain why the tiggers were not interested in playing the Dawgs in the 90's when we had some good teams and you sucked, or why you guys never played us again in basketball after we beat you in overtime at your house or why Sue G refused to play us in WBB. I will accept the word intelligent or smart or prudent. Just get over your false sense of superiority because you as an individual are no more of a man because a bunch of kids in puke purple and gold won a ball game.

didn't say that, fox. i said they were the overwhelming pick of all the backwoods dumbasses in louisiana. as in, the majority of the uneducated people in louisiana call lsu their "home" team for many reasons. because their life is unsuccessful for the most part, they are drawn to the winning team. they live vicariously through that team because their life is unfulfilling. they also, due to their uneducated status, just do what they're told. and they are told to like lsu.
i do not have a problem with lsu alumni. i have some friends that went to lsu that i get in friendly banter with. i follow lsu athletics for three reasons -- i like college sports and lsu is a premier player, i've had friends play for lsu, and many of the state's best players go to lsu. as a follower of high school athletics, i enjoy following those players in their college ventures, even the ones that leave the state. i'm not rooting for the teams, but i follow the players.
i just can't stand people who have no emotional ties to lsu rooting for them, espcecially the bangwagoners who "rooted for lsu my whole life" but in essence went to lids a couple of years ago and bought a hat once saban brought the tigers back into national prominence.

Couldnt ahve said it better myself. What makes me even sicker are pieces of crap like cgraves who went to Tech and claim LSU as their favority team and Tech their second. I have no respect for that person, none.

Thats what I thought thanks for clarifying and to an extent I agree with that.
Re: Blessing in disguise??
Now where did that pathetic little me so great because I worship lsu Eddie go. I guess he got his slap in and ran home to hide. And he was going to be so much fun to mess with because he is such of perfect example of everything that is wrong with lswho fans. If it wasn't for people like him, that school MIGHT be tolerable.
