Did we take a few seats out for (what it looks like) camera platforms?

In the framework below the main structure, there're catwalk bridges that run from the elevator area to the camera platforms.

I wouldn't think the proposed camera platforms would be very much if any larger than the old platforms. Those old platforms were built over seats. If the new camera areas are recessed, those seat might be available again.

I have seats right in front of the previous platform and was required to select other seats this year. That would lead me to believe that some seats in the last rows were eliminated. Even though the pictures don't seem to support that conclusion.

There was suppose to be a ribbon on the east side years ago - fell through I guess - don't know what happened with the plans in your pic - would bet it was a money saving move...

But dang the OCD part of me is drawn to how out of balance that top floor is.
Those slide windows placed like they are look they were added a few years after the thing was build. Not before it even opened.

I was in Ruston a couple of hours ago and checked it out. The pictures are all good but still don't do it justice. It's even more impressive in person. And to me the broadcast windows don't detract from the look.

I think the new structure is amazing, but I wish they would have filled the gap between the top of the bleachers and the bottom of the press box. A simple covering/thin wall would make it so much more streamlined/integrated with the original structure.

Good pics. Now --more than ever-- we need to plug those big holes (where sections of the stadium were removed) in the grand stands on each side. It looks awkward.
