Have you flown in/out Cozumel? Something similar, very short runway. Brakes are screaming and smoking as the tree line comes up quick! You lurch forward in your seat, like being in a car going fast and hitting the brakes hard. After landing at the old Hong Kong airport or at Cozumel makes you want to get out and kiss the ground!

I've seen several media outlets report on this Texas company in the past few days. This is the answer to the ventilator shortage. And the owner of this "mom and pop" Texas company is offering to give the plans away to anyone who wants them. And his device is FDA approved. (Sorry if someone already posted this)

There's a company, Unacast, I think is its name, who has developed software to track cell phone movement...let's set aside the Orwellian Big Brother concerns for a moment. According to the data for Louisiana, Natchitoches Parish is among the worst at the shelter at home order. We get a D+. Guilty! I'm out and about just about every day. But I have things to do, properties to attend to, and renters, who are pretty much sheltering at home, who are dependent on me and my contractors to deal with issues. Besides, I am always alone in my vehicle and we do our level best to stay 6 feet apart when we are at the same place.
Just interesting, but not surprising, that Natchitoches would be one of the biggest violators of the governor's order. People around here are still having gatherings of 10 or more.
Seeing that Texas has one of the lowest per capita testing in the US, which is consistent with the anecdotal evidence that I have heard and may help explain why the infection numbers for Houston metro areas are relatively low for their density.
California per capita testing is also relatively low.
