Put some chairbacks in Section OO. I know they said the rows are not wide enough - but I'm sure we can figure something out! Benchbacks with cupholders?

Both sections of metal bleachers on the south end of the stadium are now removed. Work on rerouting the underground utilities which serve the existing building in the south end zone is underway.
Tommy McClelland said at Tech & Tails VII last night that the actual "movement of dirt" at the SEZ project will start in a couple of weeks. There are some underground utilities on the hill serving the existing buildings that need to be rerouted first. Just a lot of prep work before the heavy work begins. Tommy hopes that it doesn't rain a lot in the next three months while the excavation of the ground occurs. Once the dirt is removed and the concrete is poured, weather will not be much of an issue.
Tommy gave a target date of summer 2015 for the completion of the complex.

Thanks 05. I remember being at Tech when they were building the TAC and what a great feeling it was to see the dirt start moving. I just had the same feeling when I saw your pics.
my son is just a tad bit upset about losing the hill that he likes to roll down after the games, told him to "man up" :)
Thanks maddawg. The ones posted today are from LA Tech via one of their Twitter accounts. It is great to see dirt being moved out in pics even though the video feed is down right now.
Tommy Mc said at Tech & Tails on May 9th that dirt would start to move within two weeks. Dump trucks were moving dirt out of the SEZ by the following Monday.
I remember before the stadium was built.... when we used that area to build a giant bonfire for the pep rally prior to the TECH-NORTHWESTERN state fair game.
Another old fart says didn't we sometimes do one where the soccer field is? Seems like there was a creek where the stadium is (now in concrete culvert down the middle of the field.
I remember watching the stadium go up riser by riser. They had only enough forms for about two at a time.
