Re: Peanut Buckets Coming to DAWGTOWN
Dowling's is the ONLY place I ever actually use the bbq sauce.
Today's ribs were astounding.

Looks like there will be a grocery store (most likely a Wal-Mart Neighborhood Store) and gas station built on California Avenue next door to the Taco Bell.

The pulled pork and brisket were quite appetizing today also.

(they actually have a prototype Daily Press location on Hwy 165 North that does extremely well) I have heard the project has been delayed slightly and that they may start on the project sometime around June or July 2015.
Who knows what will become of the remaining property! Your guess is as good as mine.
Penny Press, Daily Press, whatever Press. I knew is was gonna be a takeoff of the one on US165. . . Like I said, Yessss!
Sorry to see y'all leave, but congrats on your new affiliation. You think the Tech-LSU print will look good in Stillwater, OK??!? :D

Do you have one of Luke McCown to Erick Franklin to beat OSU? That one would probably be a big hit.
Re: Peanut Buckets Coming to DAWGTOWN
Wow. I don't know, 77. I'll have to research.

Thanks! If a person is in the restaurant business, there is no better corporation to be an owner/operator with than Chick-fil-A. We are very excited about it. I doubt if CFA corporate will allow the print in the restaurant! LOL!
There has been talk of another grocery store buying the land directly across the street from Dowling's. I have not heard a name mentioned, though.
Re: Peanut Buckets Coming to DAWGTOWN
We got four neighborhood Wal-Marts opening in West Monroe/Monroe very soon. Bet they're continuing their battle with Brookshire's in Lincoln Parish.

Are you building a new one or taking over an existing location?

I am taking over an existing store. The current owner is from the Tulsa area and CFA is building a new store in Broken Arrow, OK. She is moving back closer to home to own/operate that one.
I can stand at the front of my store and see T. Boone Pickens Stadium easily. The campus is only a block or two away.
