Re: South Endzone Complex Daily Progress Report
What is the maximum number of seats you think we will ever need in JAS?

15k, so we can always have a sell-out.
Re: South Endzone Complex Daily Progress Report
start by putting a true 30k in their once and lets go from there ;)

I have more than one answer, and each answer would depend on a scenario to justify that number. Numbers would range, from 25,000 at a low, and my highest guestimate would be 55,000.

That culvert doesn't look big enough. EJ told me he walked through the culvert from the railroad track to Lake Reneau.

Okay DFW I agree 30K. We have never official sold out in the 46 years its been open (maybe when the capacity was only 23K but I don't remember). We would need 10-15K season tickets to really reach 30K consistently (I believer we have about 6-7k - someone correct me).
Re: South Endzone Complex Daily Progress Report
I asked because I was thinking...do we really need stadium expansion? That's what I see everyone else doing. I'd rather see significant stadium enhancement and amenities. I'm fine with small scale as long as its really really nice.

Agree. There's probably a lot that can be done with the existing structure.

I'm going to have a good cry now ...

We have played 10+ games in Shreveport with greater than 30K in attendance and as recently as 2012 with 40,500 against A&M.

Exactly. If we ever play a truly big game at our HOME STADIUM like all of the other teams in America do then we'll need 50,000.

Facing reality can be a painful thing. How about this...when we make it into the SEC, we can just build a new stadium. Until then, quality of the game day experience is my priority over more seats. I'm fine with endzone facility and skybox seat additions. You can always keep an option for seat expansion in the plans...just don't prioritize it.

That's right. Focus on quality over quantity. What would be the point in expanding a stadium to, say, 62,000 seats like certain schools want to do if the stadium will only be half full?

Corrected it for you. And I agree that we need to have more than one true 30K+ crowd with 27K+ seats before considering going beyond that.
