Re: Covid - 19 - Louisiana Edition
BTW, as this pertains to that other FAKE news story, it appears governors have been holding these conference calls with the WH task force since its inception some 6 or 7 months ago. Usually it is Dr. Birx, maybe Pence, and/or the surgeon general and/or other medical/virus experts, who have facilitated the calls. It's amazing that Trump was able to cherry-pick the info and keep just the right parts away from all those goofy Dems out there. Apparently JBE, a Dem, doesn't think he's been denied any pertinent information. His comments seem to point to his satisfaction with how the WH has handled it all. Silly man...
Another BTW, right at the end of the news conference he was asked about the recall petition which is gathering steam across the state. He bravely said he's not worried about it, "doesn't keep me up at night." But, I can read expressions like some of you can read a billboard, he is hurt by it. No, I don't think he's worried, but he is hurt. It's human nature, and I don't care who you are or think you are, it has to hurt that you learn that at least a segment of the population wants you gone like this. I am telling you, he is hurt by it. I don't care very much for JBE and his lib policies, but I felt for him at that moment. It stings.

I don't care whether he was hurt or not. My family is hurt that we can't watch our daughter play volleyball because he is an idiot and will only allow 50 people in a gym that 75 or 100 are in throughout the day at any one time. They have 3 chances to sign this weekend. I haven't signed it yet, but I certainly don't care if he shed a tear or not. He is a terrible gov. Would Rispone have been better- who knows, but he would have had very little trouble being better than what we currently have in place.

I'm not defending JBE or his policies. Ya lost me on the 3 chances to sign, you haven't signed it yet stuff. Don't know what that refers to. As for his hurting or not, yeah, I get it. I just had a momentary lapse into a very human weakness...pity. I'm better now...

Except those conference calls were not happening yet in February when Pelosi, Cuomo and DeBlasio were expressing a sense of calm.

So? And I don't have a problem with anyone expressing "a sense of calm." But, that's not what those three stooges were doing. They were purposely politically posturing, trying to show-up the POTUS, with their calls to ignore any and all calls for caution re: personal protection against the then, mostly unknown China virus threat. Trump issues a travel ban against China, and Pelosi marches her skinny lil ass down to CHINAtown and announces everything is safe, ignore that xenomorphic orange man in the WH.
Everyone else...with the possible exception of johnny...knows exactly what the stooges were doing and are not fooled by any of it. You think that 7 months later you can post revisionist history and folks will be like...oh, really? thanks for the reminder. NOT!

You know Chinatown is not actually in China, right? It was not like she was saying it was safe to go to China.
You are the one trying to revise history.

I’m not at all. I’m asking you a serious question.

Should he or should he not implement the policy and procedure playbook given to him by the White House re: covid19? That’s a pickle. And that’s not terrible governance, just the reality of current climes, unfortunately.
Maybe Dr. Abraham would possibly had a different take and approach to it.
Eddie Rispone’s platform was he put a Trump sticker on his truck, and liked lsu football.

OMG!!! you truly are stupid! LOL! at you. Didn't think it was still possible, but you just sank again on the credibility meter, and the IQ meter as well.

I didn't defend Rispone- I voted for him the second time because there was no other choice. The idiot has held Louisiana high school sports hostage this entire time. The kids didn't know if they were going to play football or not until this week. Now, when there are numerous locations out there for people to sign the recall he is opening up the bars and sports. He knows he would have been run out of town if the rabid LSU fans didn't get to go or at least watch in the bars. He is terrible. Now, of course the entire time, even when everything was locked down, the abortion clinics were full speed ahead. Our supposedly pro-life governor didn't mind allowing the babies to get killed. The recall is building steam- he may have slowed it by bringing back sports and the bars.

Fake news. Read the order. See how the clinics responded (they sued).

You act like it was all the clinics. Only about three clinics were involved in that story. The rest were full speed ahead.

How many clinics do you think there are in LA?

Still counting? I can save you some time. It’s 3.
