I don't know; Hillary fared about as well against Obama and she's back. He's a young man with a long future in front of him. Trump is a phenomenon much like Obama was.... unexplainable.

But Rubio is the one often called the white or Republican Obama. :D

I think Trump is the white Obama (but I dispute that he's a Republican). They are both guys with little experience who feed off anger and change and hope that a difference can be made.

He is Obamaesque in that regard. But yeah Trump is way too liberal to really be called a Republican.
Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign
I don't care for Rubio. He has spent most of his time in office doing something other than voting. There's a reason he did so poorly in Florida. Everyone makes mistakes, this is true, and sometimes those mistakes cost you a lot.
Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign
A Northeast Yankee Republican is, in a lot of ways, more liberal than a Southern Democrat.

It was a big mistake. He would have killed the conservative movement forever. It was a dumb mistake, I bet he didn't realize it. He wanted border security and he sacrificed Republicans ever winning a presidential election again, ever. However, as a person, he is a good man. I can say the same about Bernie Sanders. He is batshit crazy politically, but I think Bernie has a good heart. I think Trump and Hillary are bad people... Hillary worse than Trump.

I can't agree more. The son of poor immigrant (who hasn't abandoned his roots), who attended universities that any of us could have, left law school with mountains of student debt, and didn't inherit a penny from his parents. He's probably the lowest net-worth presidential candidate since Truman. I'm sad to see him go, I fear he was the best shot at winning the general. At 44, I don't think he's done with national politics just yet.

Hillary was scared of him because he's 45 and could bring about a Republican revolution, while she and Bernie are in their 70's and there are no young, up and coming Democrats. We go with a 70 year old Democrat as our nominee instead. :o

I guess so. Obama went to to be a two term president; Rubio went down in flames. :D

Glad little puppet Marco is done and took the gang of 8 bill with him. The establishment was the second biggest loser last night behind Marco. I must say I am in a great mood today. Marco is a good guy but needs to be his own man instead of relying on Frank Lutz and the establishment. He also needs to honor his campaign promises which he broke with the gang of 8.
I wish him well and hope he finds a job in the private sector so he sees the effects of the laws he passed or wants to pass.
