Louisiana Tech is making progress. Slowly at times, and sometimes it seems we go two steps forward and then one backwards. But, we are making progress.
I remember when I first stepped foot on campus as a wide-eyed, eager incoming freshman. No one could have convinced me Tech wasn't the most beautiful campus in the world, and everything was perfect. I say that even as I remember freezing in Jenkins dorm that very cold winter ('76-'77). Didn't matter to me. I was in the right place.
Looking back, objectively, our campus, including our athletic facilities, have seen a lot of improvement over the decades. And, we have room for more improvement. Keep moving forward!
I bet the stadium sounds even louder this year. The DAC held/reflected the crowd noise considerably. I bet the new pressbox has the same effect.
Looks like a different stadium!
