Nothing like the allure of anise oil. whether in Italian sausage (in the mouth of man), or rubbed on the favorite plastic worm ( in the largemouth’s)

Today 3-14 is Pi Day after the numerical concept 3.14........................... to infinity:
Why shouldn't you talk to Pi at a party? (It goes on and on and on...)
What did the mathematician tell his wife the PIN number of his credit card was? (The last four numbers of Pi)
What did the geometry student say about his latest test? (It was easy as pi)
What do you get if you divide the circumference of the sun by it's diameter? (Pi in the sky)
What's a math major's favorite sport? (The Pi-athalon)

How many mathematicians does it take to screw-in a lightbulb?

according to my google search:
It only takes one mathematician to screw in a light bulb.
Proof:
Let the “bulb screwing number” https://s0.wp.com/latex.php?latex=N_...&fg=000000&s=0 of a profession https://s0.wp.com/latex.php?latex=p&...&fg=000000&s=0, be the minimum number of people of profession https://s0.wp.com/latex.php?latex=p&...&fg=000000&s=0 that must be assembled to screw in a light bulb. For any pair of professions https://s0.wp.com/latex.php?latex=p_...&fg=000000&s=0 and https://s0.wp.com/latex.php?latex=p_...&fg=000000&s=0 with https://s0.wp.com/latex.php?latex=p_...&fg=000000&s=0 and https://s0.wp.com/latex.php?latex=N_...&fg=000000&s=0 finite, there exists a “hiring” operation such that any one person of profession https://s0.wp.com/latex.php?latex=p_...&fg=000000&s=0 can hire a collection of size https://s0.wp.com/latex.php?latex=N_...&fg=000000&s=0 of appropriate people of profession https://s0.wp.com/latex.php?latex=p_...&fg=000000&s=0 such that the collection of such people can screw in a light bulb. By the transitive property of light bulb screwing with respect to hiring, a single member of profession https://s0.wp.com/latex.php?latex=p_...&fg=000000&s=0 can screw in a light bulb by hiring https://s0.wp.com/latex.php?latex=N_...&fg=000000&s=0 people of profession https://s0.wp.com/latex.php?latex=p_...&fg=000000&s=0 and therefore, so long as there exists a profession https://s0.wp.com/latex.php?latex=p_...&fg=000000&s=0 with finite bulb screwing number, the existence of this hiring operation implies that the bulb screwing number https://s0.wp.com/latex.php?latex=N_...&fg=000000&s=0 of https://s0.wp.com/latex.php?latex=p_...&fg=000000&s=0 is at most 1. But, since we know there exists at least one light bulb that has been screwed in by at least one person of some non-mathematician profession, and there has only ever been a finite number of people, there must exist some other profession with finite bulb screwing number, so the bulb screwing number for mathematicians is 1. Was it located across from Bogard and Nethkin Hall on the corner, behind the location of the original Johnny's?

Actually don't. But I do remember Cushino's (before it became the first Johnny's location) across from Nethkin.
Cushiono's=the original Ruston muffalletta

For years in the mid/late 70's and into the early 80's it was located across the street from Nethken Hall on what was then the corner of West Arizona Ave. and College Street.

That's what I thought too....I remember Cushino's in that location, but not Pisa Pizza. Pisa must have been a predecessor.

Re: If you want a thread to die
They were close in proximity with their locations, but not exact. Pisa Pizza was facing toward the direction of Howard auditorium.

no punchline, but maybe the are from the distant future where humanity was mostly wiped out and had to start over, but still had our traditions.

Yep, Cushino's I believe it opened in late 1966 or early 1967. It was owned by Dominic Cordaro and his cousin, Sammy Marabella. I was there the day before Cushino's opened. Dom had purchased some good used furniture. Most of the chairs matched but the tables didn't.
I said,"Dom, the tables don't match!" Dom said, "watch this." He then took some red and white checkered tablecloths and covered each table!! Presto, they all matched.
