By the way, lots of people call President Trump "disgusting" as well as a lot of other things. Are you as taken back by their comments as you seem to be about mine of McCain?
You should read his 2018 memoir for some of his perspective. He was a longtime champion of health care, and no real friend of Obama. But served with reason, conviction, backed by logic.
If anyone disagreeing with Trump is grounds to be called a piece of shit son of a bitch, I don’t think I can help you there.
But, Trump’s stunt with the flag over the White House after McCain’s passing was genuinely disgusting, and inappropriate.

You have your opinion, and I have mine, and my opinion of McCain is that he, like almost every other US senator and US representative in Washington, served the DC establishment first and foremost. McCain had conviction? I say that's BS. His deciding vote on Obamacare was an anti-Trump vote that was orchestrated by the DC establishment, nothing else. He was used as their puppet. I don't understand why people like you want to build him up into something he simply never was. He was a typical self serving DC politician, nothing more.

I don’t think you understand what “self serving” means. That describes Trump, not McCain. Even if you believe the maverick was a “puppet of the DC establishment”, that still means he was serving the establishment rather than him self.
Is today Opposite Day or something?

But...he didn’t bone spur out of the war.

So did many others. While I admire those who served and died during that political cluster of a war started by JFK and LBJ, I don't blame anyone who took the easy way out. Many of my friends served and many of them found a way out.

In general, I agree. One exception is if you’re a trust fund baby who got out of the war and you choose to go after the service of those who fought and were captured. Gotta be a lowlife POS to do something like that. I know you’d agree if we weren’t talking about Trump.
Re: Presidential Election 2020
You libtards need to stop this silly defense of John McCain. You never liked him, still don't, but he now serves as convenient tool to try to bash Trump. You didn't vote for McCain in 2008 either. So just quit the BS.

It’s pretty obvious that you don’t know what you’re talking about. I think you must’ve been projecting when you called me lightweight.

What did I post that lead you to call me a cuck? Do you know what that means or are you just repeating words you read on far right forums?

I watched McCain lose an easily winnable election because he was a coward. Just because he was shot down and captured does not change that fact. Whatever he may have done for me while in service, he negated by being a leftist RINO and casting the wrong votes many times.
Many people were able to get out of the Vietnam thing. Trust funds were not the reason. Knowing somebody or being able to stay in college w/out failing were the top reasons. Didn't make them cowards.
Re: Presidential Election 2020
Back to elections...
both Trump and Biden easily won the Louisiana Primary last night, no surprise there.
In local elections, however, the entire incumbent Natchitoches City Council up for re-election was either defeated or came in 2nd and managed to survive to a runoff. They may not, probably won't, win the runoff. That includes Lee Posey, current mayor, who has taxed and spent his way into political oblivion. He is responsible for the $18 million+ debacle of the new ball park, and the raping of the emergency infrastructure fund which had $11 million in it, and is depleted now. What I find amazing is how certain voters hold local officials accountable for stupid policies, yet turn a blind eye toward those on the national scene. Some of the same exact voters who are pissed off at Mayor Posey, voted for Joe Biden last night, and will again in November and will always support the tax-n-spend democraps! National debt is okay...city debt is intolerable!

New Mayor in Monroe after a 20 year screw up.
