Is it OK if we hang out, PD? I am trying to get up with McKay.

We started in the GA area (which has a nice view even from higher up) but moved down to the visitor section after the first quarter.
Overall, the fan experience in Apogee is much nicer than The Joe. Concourse area is very nice and clean, with many food options and short wait times, even at halftime. Same can be said for the restrooms. Crowd was loud to the end, and the students cared enough to stay in the second half. The audio system is also much better than ours, as well. Didn't venture into the team shop, but it looked nice from the outside. My group was very impressed and enjoyed our experience.
The only thing I did not like was finding a place to park. There was not enough signage to direct traffic to the correct lots. I went to one lot that was prepaid only, was loosely directed by the attendant to the cash lot, was told by that attendant that it was full (even though there were many spaces open when I walked through it on the way to the stadium), and then had to wander through campus to an open lot. At least I got to park for free!
What we lack is attention to our operations under the grandstand. We focus a lot with the DAC and new pressbox folks that our AD forgot about the general fans and guests.
Terry Bradshaw threw 10 interceptions.
We'll be in the same spot. HD will be hanging out near us.
I agree. I'm okay with the parking. We arrived at 3:30 which is much later than we arrive for tailgating at Tech games and we went right in to the "cash lot" with not problems. Getting out was a little tough, but not too bad. One thing that was strange...paying to park was $15 cash and $10 on a card.:shocked2:
Agree! I had planned on parking in the blue lot but when I got to the turn to the right by the interstate where the attendant was they said that starting for our game the blue lot was permit only. Got detoured through a subdivision (thank goodness for Google Maps). Took 20 minutes to circle back around to where I could cross the freeway and park in the orange lot.
5 FGs has to be a record for a freshman right?
Something else for our AD's resume'.:)
IDK
I just knew I'd never heard of him until this year. I assumed he was a Freshman or RS Freshman.
Edit: You are correct...

No word on Mason Fine. We're not sure we will know (officially) until pre-game for the UTEP game in El Paso if he plays or not. I'd think the Denton newspaper guy would report if he saw him at practice or not. Coaches kinda' funny on reporting the extent of injuries. We hope just a sprained ankle or something like that. H
#23 Loren Easly's injury looked bad. The color commentator of our games thought it might be a career ender kind of injury. This would be his 3'rd as I understand. Not sure the kid wants to rehab for a 3'rd time.
They radio boys (Dave Barnett & Hank Dickenson) asked Seth Littrell about both players & Coach seemed pissed that they did. He doesn't want to talk about injuries. Is this a trend?
I think our PA speakers suck. Of course, being a DJ I've lost much of my hearing due to industry related hearing damage so I'm probably not hearing the same thing our fans are.
First time I sat in our old stadium (Fouts) I told my girlfriend that this had to be the worst college stadium in NCAA history! LOL! I grew up a UH Cougar fan & got comfortable with the Astrodome.

BTW, I think yall have made "the Joe" look pretty damn good for what its worth. I really like the End Zone facility.
like I said-- no reason to be embarrassed by Vegas-- they were suckering in the non believers -- what is HORRIBLE or Embarrassing about Vegas . The life of a Sunshine Pumper is so much more fun. I took the points and over under-- vegas said 56 and final was 56--push there and $150 on the Dogs-- never in doubt after stopping the 2 point conversion . Now if you said our fan base is frustrating because NT had 31,000 attendance and unless UAB fans show up we will be lucky to reach 20k -- Sunshine Pumper over and out
He is a great guy and I will never not like a traveling Tech fan!! I go over board too often but I am who I am -- PD may be the best looking Tech male fan of all time. I have a role to play on BBB and that's the goofy Sunshine pumper -- pretty sure he knows that because he did not deck me...
most coaches are like that about injuries -- we were out of our best runner/kickoff guy Dancy he was hurt early against LSU and did not play against you guys -- Coaches don't want next opponent to prepare for backups . I watched his 8 minute press conference and he is class die-- he kept coming back to Ferguson --
this is where I would usually make some snarky comment but you drove to game and supported Tech. this is where I will disagree, politely, that recruiting has been rather spectacular, we are loading up on 3 star recruits for future since Holtz arrived and
gotta believe deep down you knew we had shot and winning because of Holtz recruits
For the record, I posted "if Tech shows up, the Mean Green are going down." The Dawgs showed up.
One quick question: did UNT block one of our punts? I remember we had a very bad punt but couldn't recall what happened.
No, it wasn't blocked. But our punter did punt one only 18 yds. He punted 3 times against UNT, for a 33.7 yd average.

Dyer’s rolling punt flipped the field for the last NT drive. His end over end punt was muffed.
I bet North Texas is asking how did we lose to Tech.
