Re: My all time favorite tv series . . . .
Never was a big fan of any one show, but I always set aside time for Tour of Duty. I know, a guilty pleasure... :icon_wink: Think I saw every one.

Where are you getting these questions?
Female Celebrity cleavage for $200 please.
Uncle Bill was a Civil Engineer... You must have been thinking of George Costanza who always wanted to pretend he was an architect, or Mike Brady.
Sadly enough, the questions are from memory.
You get the cleavage thing started. I promise to study each cleavage very closely to give my best guess.

Dexter is great....in a twisted way. The sister's "acting" can be a tad disconcerting.
The books are better (at least the first two).

Ice Road Truckers - That new driver Lisa Kelly is hot!! Plus any woman that can put snowchains on an 18-wheeler in the middle of a blizzard without breaking a nail is aces with me.:icon_wink:
Our paving crews each run 6 tandem dump trucks, and my best drivers are almost always women - no kidding.

Hookdown, Tour of Duty is a favorite of mine. I have all 3 seasons on DVD.

I thought it was fairly realistic and didn't slide to either the John Wayne or Oliver Stone extremes. Just a good show about average guys trying to survive. They weren't supermen and they weren't baby killers...

"Cartoon Contraptions" Documentary (2009) Real engineers try to bring Wile E. Coyote's cartoon contraptions to real life. Aired on TRUTV.
Very very cool. Physics lab in the desert - trying to hit a moving object (roadrunner) with a real boulder dropped from above off the edge of a real 211 foot cliff. Finding a real scale size boulder, a real scale size cliff, using surveying instruments, calculators, computer models, plumb-bobs, heavy equipment, trucks... real engineer/man (& female engr) stuff. I did not however see any beer.
Did anyone else see this?
Re: My all time favorite tv series . . . .
No but I have drank many a beer watching Junkyard Wars!

What ever happened to those Robot Battle shows that used to come on some years back?

They have a new series called Man vs. Cartoon that tries to recreate a different Wile E contraption every week. I think it comes on TruTV, not sure of day and time.
