I don't see how a moderate rino, deal-maker came in and stole his thunder. This was our chance and we blew it. At this point, I'm hoping the establishment will force Jeb on us, at least he's experienced and level-headed. I am angry with the establishment too, but not angry enough to destroy the country over it. That's just nuts. This really is a very serious job.
Jeb would be worse than Trump. He is a moderate that will bring everyone into our country. That is a revolting thought! Obviously by his showing in the voting, no one wants him. I might even stay home if he were the candidate. He is probably the weakest pansy of all that ran. He would be run by every special interest group that put the money in his pockets- and he had lots of money to spend. Thankfully even with all the dollars he had available he couldn't buy any votes.

And before some smart guy tells me that's the same as a vote for Hillary I would simply reply that a vote for Trump is the same thing. Knowing you have an actual Conservative who isn't in the establishments hip pocket, in Ted Cruz, and choosing to vote for Trump instead, knowing he has some of the highest disapproval ratings in history is putting Hillary right in the White House. A vote for Cruz is a vote for Conservativism and the Constitution. A vote for a Trump is a vote for Hillary.
You're making your bed. Get ready to sleep in it.
Spot on. Trump and Clinton are two sides of the same coin.

He's not going to be fighting for you though Scott. He's not a conservative. He doesn't share your values. When he passes something you don't like, he's going to tell you to sit down and shut up, you voted for me now fall in line. This is a mistake. He's not like you. He doesn't see progressivism as a threat to our society. He just thinks the politicians are dumber than him and he will do progressivism right. You vote for people who share your values, your ideas, your principles. You don't vote for a personality. This isn't a high school popularity election... this is serious. It's not cute. You don't like the Bushes because they didn't share your values. Trump doesn't either! (Oh, and I was right on the 2013 team too. :))

The trade deals wont help me, I agree. But I do believe he will secure the borders which is very important to me. The Establishment on both sides are pushing to legalize at least 12M if not more illegals in the country and if that happens its over. Also very important to me is Trump will fight back against the corrupt media and establishment on politically correctness. I also happen to agree that the USA should not be fighting in the middle east. Let the Muslims burn it to the ground and figure it out. Western civilization will not survive if PC politicians allow large number of muslims into their countries. They will not assimilate to western values. Once enough of the muslims get concentrated into a country, they will demand sharia law and will demand everyone become muslim.
I didn't agree with Romney, McCain or the Bushes on nearly as much as I agree with Trump and I voted for those losers. T! maybe your right again, but I am will to take a chance that Trump will do what he is campaigning on.
Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign
Why Trump over Cruz though? Cruz agrees with Trump on all your issues except banning all Muslims from entering the country. Why risk it? Trump will tell you he's not a conservative. He calls himself "a common sense conservative." To me, that means he thinks conservatives have no common sense. He will be a deal-maker with progressives using his common sense. That's a rino. That's Boehner.
Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign
Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign
Boehner called Cruz "Lucifer" yesterday! This should tell you Cruz is the guy to vote for the blow that mess up.
Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign
He's a big government RINO that's tough on immigration. Why not vote for a true Constitutionalist, Coservative that's also tough on immigration??
Polls show Cruz doing well against Hillary.

He's the true anti establishment candidate. It's why he is so disliked. He should wear it as a badge of honor. If Boehner or McConnell love you, somethings wrong.
