You are confused. The problem is not with affidavits as a form of proof. The problem, in the context of the election challenges, was that even if you accepted the statements of fact in the submitted affidavits as true, they failed to establish election fraud. Instead, those affidavits reflected a poor understanding by the affiants as to what the actual proper voting and canvassing processes are and opinions, which are not generally treated as evidence except in the narrow context of expert evidence on scientific matters.Quote:
