Yeah, that's the thing. I didn't expect it to be great, but I didn't have much experience trying it because you're right, how often does that happen? Next time I'll just make sure none gets leftover.

i've never had to deal with this particular problem either, but maybe you could try saving those crisping sleeves from hot pockets and heat up a few okra at a time in one of those?

That might work. Wrapping in a damp paper towel might help too. When I reheat fish or pizza or bread I usually nuke for about 10 secs., then let is rest a while before nuking it again.
I do admire anyone who has the will power to leave a handfull of fried okra on the serving dish.

Difference between raising boys & girls --
If you holler at a little boy from across the room to get back from that electrical socket -- he will either walk off, or do it anyway.
A little girl, on the other hand, will sit down and cry. Cry like you have wounded her soul. Cry like you just boiled a kitten.

Sexy has become an over used word in the sports world. Sexy is okay for women's beach volley ball. Not so much for football.

Unless you are talking about cheerleaders, girlfriends, wives, or lingerie football.
