Marsala's just doing his job, his arguement is based on how they've been held down, does nothing to address the needs of the city, dwindling budget or enrollment.... He sound's half-hearted...
Marsala is STILL playing the blame game. He doesn't present a single reason why keeping the status quo is better than the merger. He wants LSUS to become a national research university.
Doesn't matter how we got here.........only matters that the area needs a 4-year RESEARCH university, and the state can't afford to put money into a new one. Merging with Tech is best alternative.Quote:
