That's a great story. Good way to start my day. Dawsg80, you have my proxy to offer a ticket (I have extras) to a game, the next time you encounter him or another "bandwagon" fan. He is my kind of guy.

In my opinion, the benefit of being in a regional conference is not for your home attendance, but for your away attendance. You give your fans drivable away games so that they can have more opportunities to support the program.
And regional away games also helps keep fans' attention on the program.

Its a good problem to have when there are folks out there (of any age) wearing Tech stuff, but didn't go to school there and never been to a game. I want them to experience The Joe on a cool autumn night.
