We've already seen his kind of nonsense from north Louisiana people regarding Tech not playing ULM in football.
Why was NSU's leadership having discussions with Shreveport's mayor about moving a LA Tech HOME game anyway?
Let NSU move one of "their" home games to Shreveport.

Re: 2013 Football Schedule
Tell NSU we will move the game to Dallas.
Re: 2013 Football Schedule
After this weekend I say no more scheduling service academies. We can't stop the triple option. Also, I hate getting dirty looks from some Tech fans when I boo the opponent regarding a BS call or ugly play.

This! Why the hell is it bad manners to boo the opposing team just because they are a service academy? All opponents are equal on the grid iron in my opinion.

IMO booing needs to be justified by bad blood, intense rivalry, trash talk, bad coaching, personal fouls, etc..
I've never gotten into booing another team just because they are another team.
I though the Army DB who was ejected over the stupid new rule got a bad call. I'd would not have booed him.

I saw the play and the replay saw the play. They have not be shy about overturning targeting (at least the ejection). It was head to head first. He lowered his head and led with it. Shoulder contact was incidental. Yes, it would have been a good hit last year, but rules are rules. The announcers in the Tulane game pointed out a particular instance that they have stopped -- when a pass goes way over the head of a receiver and the receiver is stretched out to the max you no longer see the DB flattening the receiver to make him hear foot steps. Is that good or bad?

I think they will err on the side of caution which will end up costing players games and teams players. So I'd say bad.
I still think the Army guy's hit was okay and the flag came out "just in case". The review guys missed it IMO.

We have got to be the most bot-plagued sports board in the U.S.

What are the chances that we PLAY Tulane? What do you know, you nailed that one.

So you ignored the posts where I admitted I was wrong. You also ignored the timeline developments. At the time I posted that, there was zero chance because they we were projected to be on the opposite side and they DID NOT want to play us.
If you have a problem with me, let's talk it out.
Re: 2013 Football Schedule
Is the 2014 game at OU really on a Sunday? I see the game listed as 8/31. Did they do that for TV since the next day is Labor Day? Thoughts?

Fixed it - the story says August 30 then the schedule at bottom has August 31. It should be Aug 30
