Agree, but still exposed. Short passes to flat... get rid of it quick. Drive the ball... dink and dunk. Patience. Run/pass balance. Not everybody is capable, but ODU had the formula.

If we get wind of any school looking to poach our coaches, we need to send them a tape of this game; excluding the special teams coach. Whoever is that guy needs an apple and Google Maps.

I don't know what to think about these staying 3 anymore. I have received conflicting information about Holtz, Diaz and Dixon on their future plans from multiple sources. Based on the information, mostly gossip, I believe they will all be back. Which is a good thing. My gut has been wrong before.

I can't believe there is no buyout clause in Diazs contract.

I'm pretty critical of our athletic admin with the bumbling media relations, lack of media, and general treatment of fans, but I would never expect or want a buyout clause on an OC or DC. Although we probably should have considered it on Tony Franklin, since we knew Dykes couldn't go to the toilet without TF's assistance.

Why would he go to an SEC school and depend on an SEC HC for his livelihood? That didn't work out for him as a Big12 DC. If he wants to be anything other than a DC or position coach he can control his situation at Tech while he gives up control at a P5 school.

I dunno, "Snyder's contract, which paid him an annual salary of $700,000", sort of jumped off the page at me. If it is not about the money in the short run, then stay where you're at and make moves on your terms if you decide to at some point in your career.

It will be interesting to see what happens. I hope Diaz stays at Tech. He could be the next HC. I really appreciate someone with as much passion as he has.

We have to find money to keep Diaz. I could see Coach Holtz wanting to team up with him like Dykes and Franklin. The big money will be there , just give us another year or 2. I would love to see Tim groomed as offensive coordinator -- rambling
