The only question at this point is whether we lose by 30 or only 20.

Teachable moment.;)
3 on 1 fast break for Tech, but we double dribble for yet another turnover. Are you kidding me?
I felt to sleep for about 20 minutes and we scored abou 4pts in that span :(
And to think I had almost convinced dh to get season tickets for my early christmas present..... I guess they're trying to copy the fb team?!
Should have done this 2-2-1 press in the first half to generate more energy. I thought we might be too amped up vs OSU, but we looked so good. Then tonight we come out and just drag around on both ends of the court and we look soooooo inept.
As bad as we've played, we're still in it if we hit free throws.
Waiting for the resident expert to voice his opinion. Whenever you are ready DFM, I'd like to know what you think.
Got out hustled and out played. It happens guys. At the end of the season it won't be a bad road loss. As was said above, it's a teaching moment.
I'm certainly no expert, but a few things jump out at me--outrebounded 46-31, 16-34 from the free throw line, and Memphis just about doubled their 3-point percentage.
A new article has been posted on www.latechsports.com:
Louisiana Tech held Memphis’ star player to just eight points, but a Tigers team who came in shooting just 24 percent from beyond the arc made 10 three-pointers to down the Bulldogs, 94-68, on Tuesday night inside the FedEx Forum.

You all act like we were going undefeated this season.
It's your fault for getting too "up" after beating Ohio state
Anyone that follows college basketball knows what I mean
Same here. I didn't expect a loss (I never do), but know on any given night that we can be beat. UTA beat this Memphis team and I think everyone had their hopes up because of that. That made me more worried, though. Memphis is a very proud program and they were not going to go down easy, especially after having lost a couple already. Sports is a game of emotion and control, just as much as it is talent and coaching. Memphis was up and we had a really bad game. That doesn't mean we have a bad team. H, we might reel off 15 straight wins after this. We just don't know. We beat Ohio State and UTA (which has proven to be a great win, as well). We have a shot at being very very good this year. Last night was one game. We should bounce back nicely. It was an embarrassing loss in the way we played. I don't expect that will happen again.
