Yeah that story broke about the same time as the firing happened. Gruden was quick to jump on the opportunity. The ad says he wants someone with a lot of college experience. That's not Gruden. So this might get interesting as everyone in Tampa loves Gruden of course.

Shane Lyons out as ad at West Virginia. New ad will get to pick the next headcoach, once Neal Brown is fired.

Charlotte found their guy.

In addition to Poggi’s $1 million annual salary, which is comprised of a $500,000 base salary and an equal matching portion from supplemental channels, Charlotte athletics director Mike Hill is investing approximately an additional $2.25 million into the program for the assistant coaches’ salary pool
How much is our assistants pool?

Our's is much more of a "wading pool" than a real pool. ;). Just enough to get the ankles wet.

Re: 2022 Coaching Carousel
Who do y’all see getting the Auburn job? I can’t see them hiring Sanders, but it wouldn’t surprise me. Do they retain Williams? With the way Kiffin has imploded at the end of the season, I tend to think it’s him. Him or Freeze

Kiffin trolling back that story is not true. Good stuff either way.

Things really starting to heat up.
Maybe we see ..................
Rhule to Nebraska (reports they are negotiating)
Hopefully Kiffin is true to his word and stays at Ole Miss, leaving Freeze to Auburn (good for us if he leaves Liberty ASAP)
Is Prime going to Colorado or USF perhaps?
Lots of decisions to be made before the portal opens on the 5th. How many G5 jobs become available this week?
Will we lose anyone to the portal? What should we be looking for in the portal?
Re: 2022 Coaching Carousel
Former Temple and Baylor Coach Matt Rhule just signed an 8-yr deal to coach he Nebraska Cornhuskers. It's a done deal.

Lane Kiffin is staying at Ole Miss.
Quote:
Sources told ESPN that Lane Kiffin's new deal will take his average annual salary to the $9 million range. He made $7.25 million this season. In three seasons at Ole Miss, Kiffin is 23-12. The Rebels won their first seven games this season but lost four of their last five. A year ago, Kiffin led Ole Miss to its first 10-win regular season in school history.

Ole Miss is expected to make an official announcement sometime this weekend.
