Who was talking about the Islamic faith/Muslims? You posted an article about the Catholic Church as "more persecution of Christians."

I said that was used as an example to help or aid you to understand the depth and/or difference vs what you weren't able to see. If you can't answer or fail to recognize the "Why is that the way it is or why is there that big of a difference?", then you are in effect agreeing that one is persecuted (or minimum having cheep shots taken at it) where the other isn't by our own media. And again I say that I agree with some of the articles points.
Come on, Tyler. The reason I "didn't see" the "one vs. the other" argument is because you JUST made it. Your initial posts regarding this had NOTHING to do with the Islamic faith. You posted the CNN article regarding the NCAA handling sexual abuse issues better than the Catholic Church and labeled it persecution of Christians. It was not. The fact is that later, when it was demonstrated that you made a false assertion, you made a completely different argument. Sometimes we all just have to admit we goofed up.
No false assertions on my part. it was a pointed attack no matter how slight you deem it. The Christian church/body and belief system has been attacked in ever increasing numbers the last two decades but more so the last 8 -10 years (and for that matter even worse for the Jewish faith and people) . Look for it to continue to increase exponentially but on a worldwide basis.
Ah...the atheist has spoken up.
You'll love this one, or should I say this one will make you proud Guisslapp, which I found on MSNBC web today .
Hotel replaces Bibles with 'Fifty Shades of Grey'
Bibles in nightstands are a familiar amenity for hotel guests, but travelers seeking to read their favorite verse at one establishment will be in for a big surprise.

The Damson Dene Hotel, which touts itself as the perfect destination for a “peaceful break away from it all” in England’s picturesque Lake District, is making quite a noise for replacing the Bible with “Fifty Shades of Grey” in its 40 guest rooms.
The steamy novel — part of a trilogy by author E.L. James — has become a worldwide blockbuster thanks in large part to the graphic sex scenes that have its main characters engaging in bondage, sadomasochism and other exploits.
Damson Dene owner Jonathan Denby, who bought the hotel from a Methodist group 10 years ago, said he had been pondering for a long time what to do with the Gideons Bibles that had been placed in the rooms by the previous proprietors.
He decided that in a modern secular society it was “wholly inappropriate” to keep a religious book in people’s private bedrooms, so the search was on for a replacement.
What does Fifty Shades of Grey have to do with atheism? At least Guisslapp's post has focused you on something else and you don't have to think anymore about how bad you fouled up that post about CNN!
Sorry Tyler--I don't have any problem whatsoever engaging in meaningful debate, but when you're wrong, you go all in, don't you?
TT, why wouldn't you want your woman to read 50 Shades while on vacation? You guys might just have a good time.
Now try and keep up maverick. I know it will be hard. Chick Fil A has come under attack by the left, liberal media and gay rights groups for their Christian beliefs and stance on closing for the Lord's day for their employees if they so wish to attend church and the owners anti same sex marriage beliefs.
