I don't follow your thinking that the Supreme Court can't change the law that the court made. It is not likely, but they have done it in the past.

Do you seriously believe the number of babies that would remain the same if abortion was made was illegal and not federally funded? Currently our country is making it out like it is no big deal. They advertise it, they put abortion clinics on every corner in low income areas, and they tell the lie that it is no big deal. If you truly do your homework, you will see it is a very big deal to those that you believe should be allowed to murder. This is NOT birth control, this is murder, and the realization hits many of these women after the fact. Do I believe it will happen anyway, yes, but it will not be so readily available, and the numbers will be down dramatically. It is interesting reading how you believe Christians don't do anything to support those that are born and unwanted in the other thread. As I read your post last night in all of its superiority, a good friend of mine was letting me know she was adopting her 7th child- a 5 yr. old that needed a family. She now has 10 children- all 7 that she adopted have Down syndrome. There are so many people out there that do believe it is our responsibility to take care of orphans and widows as the Bible says. I hope we start voting in that manner as well. I know I do. Even if changing the law saves 1 life, it is worth it, but it would save so many more than 1. We would also save millions of lives by make the laws stricter on abortions as many states have done, and defunding Planned Parenthood.
I also mentioned doing everything possible to prevent the act, but the fact remains the same. I agree in doing everything possible to prevent, but that still doesn't handle all situations. I would rather have good medical treatment for those that make the decision than force that decision to take place in a different circumstance. All I'm saying.
As for the superiority comment, read into things how you like. Your friends are good people. They seem very keen on practicing what they preach it seems. That's not the norm unfortunately. Most don't have that, but I'll stand by my comment that I believe many in the anti-abortion regime care more about life prebirth than post.
Outlawing theft doesn't seem to have stopped theft. It just made it illegal and drove it underground and made it more dangerous to be a thief.
And yet, it's still illegal to steal stuff.
It's true that if robbery was legal, we'd probably have fewer robbers getting hurt in police shoot-outs, car chase crashes, etc. And it's true that making it illegal didn't stop it from happening.
But it is still illegal.
It gets worse and worse the more I learn about Trump. Turns out Trump is a Keynsian protectinist. He says he is going to put a 35% tax on all imports from China. I'm looking forward to that price increase and the drag it will have on the economy
Excerpt From: Smith, Adam. “An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations.” iBooks.Quote:
“In every country it always is, and must be, the interest of the great body of the people, to buy whatever they want of those who sell it cheapest. The proposition is so very manifest, that it seems ridiculous to take any pains to prove it; nor could it ever have been called in question, had not the interested sophistry of merchants and manufacturers confounded the common sense of mankind. Their interest is, in this respect, directly opposite to that of the great body of the people.”

He is a far left populist. Mark my word.
On top of it all, the man repulses me. He is a disgusting game show host. I just don't see how any conservative has fallen for this clown.
