It goes without saying that someone that would celebrate the loss or potential loss of human life represents the worst of our species. We need a return to humanity, and fortunately there are many, such as the NFL, now starting to lead on the issue.

It's because he is dumb as s#@! and doesn't have any more of a vocabulary. In Bernie terms he represents the lumpenprolitariat, but he is too stupid to ever know that.
I guess that sparkling example of humanity will be the next poster boy for the BLM movement when he attacks a law enforcement officer.
BTW, “woke” is such a stupid term. Picking a term that is not a word...as brilliant as “decommit”
Satan seeks anyone who has hate in his/her heart, and turns them into one of his agents of evil. The entire lefty, commie movement, and all entrenched in it, are easy targets for Satan to recruit. And there are individuals who harbor other kinds of hate that Satan uses. There is no reason, excuse, justification...whatever term you wish to use...for attacking churches. If someone makes it a racial issue then they miss the real point. The Lord is not concerned about the color of the skin of His followers, He is only concerned that they have accepted Him as their Savior.
Like that shooting in South Carolina...the misguided, the lost wanted to make it a racial issue. Nope! it was a Satan-following, hate-filled fool who attacked Christians. If some white guy shoots nine blacks, because they are black, say in a restaurant, without knowledge of their relationship with Christ, then that is a racially motivated crime. Attacking Christians, who happened to be black, in church leaps waaaaaaaaaaay beyond any Earthly concerns.
So, there is a HUGE difference between the incidents in Tioga and St. Landry Parish. Based on what we know, the attack in Tioga is mega-times worse.
That’s not it.

Unclear whether it was driven by racial animosity or his interest in black metal, which has a tradition of church burnings (in Norway).
Initially a synonym for "Satanic metal",[20] black metal has often sparked controversy, due to the actions and ideologies associated with the genre. Many artists express extreme anti-Christian and misanthropic views, advocating various forms of Satanism or ethnicpaganism. In the 1990s, members of the scene were responsible for a spate of church burnings and murders. There is also a small neo-Nazimovement within black metal, although it has been shunned by many prominent artists.[5][21][22] Generally, black metal strives to remain an underground phenomenon.[23]
Never heard of "black metal" prior to this. "extreme anti-Christian" views. This idiot in St. Landry Parish may have selected predominantly black churches to practice his evil, anti-Christian motivation because he is also a racist. But, clearly his primary motivation is anti-Christian, which places this on par with the attack in Tioga.
