Re: 2014 season schedule posters
My only complaint, the colors. I know there's a difference in color pallet for print vs web. I made the adjustments below.
Overall, best design ever.

Here's a comparison on how off they are. Tech Athletics not complying to the Tech color standard.

There is. It's a pic of I-20 bridge over the river looking towards Monroe
And yea, I was kinda hoping they'd publish the right colors instead of fading the uniforms to Columbia Blue. That being said, this blows the past 5 years of posters out of the water (maybe more).

Re: 2014 season schedule posters
HEX blue is not print blue. You don't use HEX numbers for print. Tech's print blue is different from the web blue and less vibrant. This is pretty accurate and is definitely not Techster blue. Not to mention, once you throw lighting effects on there, the colors shift to emulate 'lighting'. I think this was achieved well. Quang just loves to complain about the hue of blues :D

Shouldn't it be converted if released for Web? :icon_wink:

If you give it the thumbs up then the rest of BB&B-Designers should probably just shut their mouths...

No because then you're going back and redoing it with completely new blues. 2 different posters. For the sake of display this is just converted to RGB and posted. It's not made to be a web poster. It's a print poster. Thus CMYK. Printed. RGB for portfolio. If they made it for web specifically then you might be getting your magic HEX number. But not in this case.

Re: 2014 season schedule posters
Not trying to be 'that guy'. But once you do it in CMYK for print, then throw lighting effects, you're just not going to get 'Tech blue'. It doesn't exist. Too many different shades and no solids. It won't happen. And they won't use the RGB blue logo on a CMYK print poster. That's why it's lighter right now. It will look fine when printed.

Yes but you're basically arguing with some one who is an expert in this field...

Plus this is the best poster in years.
Of course, if word gets out that BBB approves, PW might issue a poster recall :D

I love it.
All of them!
I wonder what it would look like if instead of a skyline in the bbackground a road map with I-20 from Texas to Miss was there?
