I was pleasantly surprised last night to find out that Comcast Sports Net Chicago will be televising the Tech-ULL game next Wednesday night.
It was announced by CSN back on 11/11/14, but it is not showing up on the BB schedule on Tech's website. I guess someone is asleep at the wheel. http://www.latechsports.com/sports/m...kbl-sched.html

It's not. I talked to the CSN Chicago programming manager a couple weeks ago. He checked on it and found that it was no longer on ASN's schedule that was sent to them. He said it was on the original schedule but not the most updated. ASN made a mistake, and the CSN Chicago people didn't catch it until I called them. The Alumni Association is chartering a bus for the ULL game. The cost would be $55 (game ticket not included). The bus will depart Ruston from the Argent Pavilion at 2:00 PM. We will return immediately after the game.

Pregame Event
Join the Louisiana Tech Alumni Association and other LA Tech fans prior to the LA Tech vs. UL-Lafayette game on December 10. We will be having a pregame event beginning at 5 p.m. at the Cajundome. The cost for the event is $15 and includes a meal (hamburgers and hot dogs). A cash bar will be available. Game tickets are not included.

"Longtime In-State Foe" is an interesting description when you consider that our Football SID spent several days and hours hyping an away game and pounding out what a great rivlary they are. He showed them respect all week, while McGuire is taking LaLaff down a notch with his description.

All of them I've tried to watch with the exception of Tech at home. Southern had to actually refund us because it didn't work at all, and Northwestern was so bad I ended up listening to Dave. I don't know where in 2014 you can buy a camera with as bad video quality as these schools produce. Ours was pretty bad just a few years ago, but now its a nice clear picture.Quote:

ULL video feed is beyond pathetic. Like already mentioned, the audio is on a 10 second delay. They'll show 3 replays of ULL scoring while Tech is on offense, they've missed at least 5 scoring plays and steals by Tech. The camera man will follow the action only about 50% of the time. He usually will pan to ULL players away from the ball. Is he high or stupid? Of course this is U LaLa, so probably both. On a positive note, rebounding seems to be a little more of a priority from the players, and if Keyser misses a block, McCree has been picking up the defensive slack. If we could finish our lay up opportunities instead of missing, we'd be up by 10.
The video has been so-so for me. I know ULL is running the video, but I'd rather see what Tech is doing instead of seeing a ULL basket replay from multiple angles.
I turned off the ULL audio since it wasn't in sync with the video, but found that the Tech All Access audio was a couple of seconds ahead of the video. So I paused the Tech audio for a couple of seconds so that now the audio is only a split second off. It's a crazy way to watch a game, but I've at least gotten it to a bearable state.
