How to watch CUSA.TV on your TV
I'm going to make a couple of posts on this thread to try to help everyone out.
1. How to hook computer to TV/Sound System
2. How to stream from your iPhone/Android to Roku/Chromecast
Note: C-USA.tv is a subscription service, see below for prices.
The video quality will depend on YOUR internet connection.

Re: How to watch CUSA.TV & ASN Stream on your TV
Roku and Chromecast have similar instructions.
1. Download Video & TV Cast for your device: When you click on the link for each device, you will have the option to download via App Store or Google Play. That link takes you to a "Pro" version that cost $$$. The FREE versions are available below.
2. Once you have it set up on your phone & device (if necessary), open the app and use the browser to go to BB&B and the schedule thread. Then click on the link for the appropriate game and follow the instructions on your phone. I've tried this with Roku & Chromecast from my iPhone and it works like a charm.
Louisiana Tech @ UAB
My suggestion is to try the apps to get used to it BEFORE the start of the game. Try watching something FREE on C-USA TV before purchasing the game.

Anyone with Fire TV not able to replay the game? I am only seeing games that started at 4:30pm or later...

I hope it is better than last year. Sound was way behind picture and picture kept breaking up.

I watched the other day (Harvard game) and it was acceptable. Better than the ODU game on Fox College Sports a few years ago. There will be 2 streams (ASN & FOTV) so pic the better of the two.

Re: How to watch CUSA.TV, ASN & Campus Insiders stream on your TV
REMINDER, next week FIU is ESPN3 only. No traditional TV.
If you don't have a SMART TV or Roku/Apple TV/Fire Stick, etc, there is a new $30 Roku Express that you need to go purchase.
For TVs with HDMI input - https://www.roku.com/products/roku-express
For TVs without HDMI input ($40) - https://www.roku.com/products/roku-express-plus

Do ESPN3 games become immediately archived and able to see the replay?
I won't be able to watch live and wonder if I can watch it later Saturday night on ESPN3.
-
Re: How to watch CUSA.TV, ASN & Campus Insiders stream on your TV
Yes. If a game is on ESPN3, it will be available to watch very soon after...maybe an hour later, or so.
There's a major flaw, though. The audio is not the Nitzer.

If you have Roku, just go to "ESPN Watch". The LA Tech-FIU game is listed there for broadcast a 6 PM.

Sportsdawg took boys scouts for campout-- same ones who spent nite camping on field at The Joe. He took my I-Pad so he could watch game -- I mean, its his rule no I-pads but its Tech we are talking about here .
he came by set a ROKU up so I could watch the game. This really is cool --I used to lay on floor and listen to Nitz on radio and chart the plays.. I heard Teddy say Nitz may miss todays game, something about "shaved hip'

Re: How to watch CUSA.TV, ASN & Campus Insiders stream on your TV
Any having troubles with Roku?
-
Re: How to watch CUSA.TV, ASN & Campus Insiders stream on your TV
I think it was the production from FIU that was amiss.

I have already found the Rice game on Campus Insiders and have bookmarked it. Hope it's better than ESPN3 feed from FIU.

Dude....just DRIVE to Ruston for the game.

I would love to, but the shortest distance is still 320 miles and that's going cross country from Houston to Lufkin to Natchitoches to Winnfield to Ruston. That's not an easy drive. Easier (but not much) is to Carthage to Shreveport to Ruston. My trip is only about fifty miles further than yours, but getting to Shreveport isn't a joy. I used to have season tickets so I have tried several different routes.
Heck, man, Denton is closer than Ruston and I went to the last game there.
I am going to the UTSA game for Homecoming. Actually I don't care much about Homecoming, it's that it's an afternoon game and I can make a day trip of it since I have someone who can go with me.

Re: How to watch CUSA.TV, ASN & Campus Insiders stream on your TV
bump. Anybody watched a Campus Insiders game this year? There is a Roku Channel, but I'm not sure if they have live games.

I have yet to test Campus Insiders to see if it works for that site as well.

You may be able to watch Campus Insiders on the Livestream Channel on ROKU
https://livestream.com/tv
I have not confirmed this, and probably won't have time to do so.

Re: How to watch CUSA.TV, ASN & Campus Insiders stream on your TV
It looks like the Rice game will also stream on Twitter: https://twitter.com/Conference_USA/s...92377526153216

Re: How to watch CUSA.TV, ASN & Campus Insiders stream on your TV
I hope the ESPN streaming of the NT game is better than the FIU fiasco. This is the last one this year I have to rely on streaming. Going to the UTSA game and can watch the USM game on ESPN real TV.

Re: How to watch CUSA.TV, ASN & Campus Insiders stream on your TV
Did the Tech-Rice game show up on the Campus Insiders app for anybody? I couldn't find it; nor could a relative. There was no live event under the "live" tab. The game worked on the campusinsiders.com link and the twitter link, but to my knowledge you can't Apple AirPlay to Apple TV from an iPhone or iPad by either of those methods like you can with the app.

Not sure about the app, but I spoke to several people who watched it via Roku.

yesterday was the worst. First of all, the audio was way behind, then it disappeared. Then the video disappeared or froze. I demanded a refund, and got it.

Re: How to watch CUSA.TV on your TV
It was so bad yesterday that Conference USA tweeted it' not our fault" in the middle of the broadcast.

Re: How to watch CUSA.TV on your TV
Therein lies the problem- C-USA needs to demand a certain level of production (even from us) for all games. Luckily Learfield did a great job on our 2 games not picked up.
There should at minimum be down and distance, time & period on the screen at all times. All we had was the score

UAB was worried about the important stuff......like WINNING! They weren't concerned with whether or not LA Tech fans got to see the game.

Re: How to watch CUSA.TV on your TV
Is anyone going to try CUSA TV again? After the last fiasco I think I'll pass.

That was all UAB's fault from my understanding. I'll try it again this week - plus maybe have it for basketball season.

You get your money's worth in basketball and baseball seasons.
