Go to the Democrats-Hypocrites, Liars, Bastards, America-haters thread.
It's just another failed Mueller probe type political theater of "Red herring"; orchestrated by people of hatred and the world globalist vs. Trump's nationalism ideology (and America first love of country) pressing the latest coup attempt by the socialist/commie swamp creatures. We are seeing how entrenched those swamp creatures and the outside global influences are in the U.S.of A.. Just one of the baits is health insurance for all and a one world people group against global warming. This is the overreaching cause and not the bogus "impeachment".
A new "One World Order", without borders or walls (a Tower of Babel scenario) led by one world leader, one money system and one "religion be it climate change/global warming or worship/following of an eventual individual and or governmental body" is their goal. Heck just sit back and watch Europe and their "leaders". He put a full noose around the necks of the Bush, Clinton, IGore, The French and Brit leaders, Obama, Soros, the IMF and Hillary when he was elected. Make no mistake folks. Again, this is the overreaching cause and not the bogus "impeachment" of the man Trump that believes in the polar opposite of their desires and is acting against those ideas.
Got to love all these responses!!!
"The measure passed 232 to 196 with no Republican support. Two Democrats joined Republicans in opposing the impeachment inquiry."
You'd have to have your head in the sand to think this is going anywhere the dems would like. They may vote on a party line to impeach....they can do whatever irrational thing they wish to do...but there is nothing here to help their cause in trying to win the 2016 election.
This is nothing but a partisan attack (again) by people that think they know better than the American public when it comes to the occupant of the White House.
Arguing about what the transcript says (the transcript...actual evidence) shows the dems have not progressed from their days of arguing what "is" is.
I haven't seen the actual transcript, only a "rough" presentation. Anyway, the Democrats aren't seeking to reverse the 2016 election since Pence would become POTUS if Trump was impeached by the Senate.
This could get real interesting.
Judge Jeanine: Ukraine whistleblower is connected to Brennan and Obama's 'liar' Susan Rice
After a former CIA chief expressed his gratitude for the "deep state's" role in triggering the impeachment inquiry into President Trump, Judge Jeanine Pirro said on Friday that the former intelligence head “is not joking" when it comes to holdovers from the Obama administration.
“We know [the whistleblower] is connected to [John] Brennan and the liar Susan Rice and the whole lot of them. [He's an] Obama holdover, worked with [Vice President Joe] Biden,” the host of "Justice With Judge Jeanine" said on “Fox & Friends.”
“The bottom line is you’ve got somebody connected to the CIA who is in there, intentionally put in there. He’s an Obama holdover and his job is to create some complaint so that they can start an impeachment inquiry,” Pirro said.
CBS reporter Margaret Brennan had noted to former Acting CIA Director John McLaughlin that the origin of the impeachment inquiry likely furthered Trump's concerns about the "deep state."
"Well, you know, thank God for the 'deep state'," McLaughlin responded, provoking laughter and applause from the audience.
He was speaking at an event hosted by George Mason University, joined by former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe and former CIA Director John Brennan -- both of whom have been critical of the president.
His comments came just a day before the House would vote to approve a resolution for ground rules in Democrats' impeachment inquiry.
“With all of the people who knew what was going on here, it took an intelligence officer to step forward and say something about it, which was the trigger that then unleashed everything else,” McLaughlin said.
He was referring to the fact that an intelligence officer filed the whistleblower complaint about President Trump's July call with Ukraine -- a conversation Democrats have described as showing Trump inappropriately asked a foreign country to interfere in the 2020 elections by investigating his political rival.

Trump impeachment inquiry is Democrats' 'cop-out' for lack of a productive agenda, Matt Gaetz says
https://www.foxnews.com/media/trump-...att-gaetz-says
I think the whole reason we hadn’t started an impeachment thread, until now, is that we all know any speculation on the part of BB&B will be quoted as evidence by CNN.
Mainly because every bit of bad news for Trump is interpreted by the vast majority here as "fake news". Actual bad decisions are 4-dimensional chess. Actual conservative thinkers like Jonah Goldberg and David French are liberals.
What's the point?
Also, the football team (to the chagrin of many) is pretty good this year.
You mean like the "conservatives" who went nuts over the fake news reported on removal of troops from Syria?
Who is disappointed over the football team doing well this year?
I know many were/are disappointed over the margin of victory in some games. Many are also hesitant to get overly excited about the winning streak because they think they have seen this movie before and they know how it turns out. That's to be expected when Holtz has only shown aggressiveness in bowl games and never in important games down the stretch.
Like everything else the Dems/lamestream media has tried this is just another hoax. Doesn't deserve to have a thread.
As for Tech football, well, I am so excited about it I will actually have Nitz on the radio as I watch the Bama-LSU game on my brand new 81" mega-TV! :shocked2:
Syria is actually the exception that proves the rule...at least around here. You're the only one I've seen that seems to buy (or at least posts as if you do) the spin out of the administration on Syria.
I think disappointment is a poor synonym for chagrin. The object of the chagrin wouldn't be the results on the field, but the inaccuracies of the predicted performance/results (ex: J'Mar Smith's play in 2018 was erratic, much to the chagrin of Johnnylightnin. Though, in this example there was chagrin AND disappointment).
Funny. You seem to be in the minority of those who remain indignant about the decision that was later PROVEN to be fake news. You still prefer to believe the never Trumpers over the military experts he delegates to take care of these matters. How many Kurds is Trump responsible for killing since he pulled out the 50 or so troops?
Like I said...what’s the point?
The latest number I've seen is 213 dead, another 550 wounded.
Thankfully Trump saw the error of his snap decision and kind of reversed himself. Also, keep in mind we had not actually withdrawn our "50 or so troops" yet when the Turks attacked. The Turks halted their indiscriminate shelling out of fear of hitting an American. That bought some time for cooler heads to prevail.
Bottom line Trump fumbled the ball in this matter. It was unfortunate, but no one is perfect. As I said, Trump realized his "fumble" and changed directions. It was a helluva fumble though... :(
It wasn't a snap decision by Trump only, but that fits the narrative.
Did any Americans die?
Two American soldiers (observers) were slightly wounded by flying chunks of concrete when artillery shells destroyed a building near them. Thankfully, it was minor injuries and no, no Americans have been killed. But Kurds have been killed and they are (or were) staunch allies.
To quote Stuart Varney;
"But it gets worse," he continued. "The New York Times conducted an extensive poll of battleground states, those states that will have a big say in deciding next year's winner... And the Times concluded, 'The president's advantage in the Electoral College... remains intact or has even grown.'"
"No wonder the Democrats are now pushing impeachment," concluded Varney. "There is only a year to go to the election and they're losing on policy, losing on prosperity and their socialist front-runners are being attacked by their own side."

Donald Trump Jr. goes public: Tweets alleged name of whistleblower
Identity of president's accuser said to be open secret in Washington
Donald Trump Jr. tweeted on Wednesday the name of the person widely believed to be the anonymous whistleblower whose complaint prompted the Democrats' impeachment inquiry against President Trump, defying warnings by the whistleblower's lawyers.
Last Thursday, attorneys for the whistleblower declined to confirm or deny that their client was CIA analyst Eric Ciaramella. The day before, RealClearInvestigations reported Ciaramella is the whistleblower, calling his identity "an open secret inside the Beltway."

One would have to be the lowest level of scum to report the name of someone seeking protection under the whistleblower act.
Except he’s not really a WB. He’s a democratic operative, that’s a proven fact. This is just Russia 2.0 with the Dems trying to create a crime.
You can always tell what the Dems are up to, just listen to what they’re accusing Trump of doing. The Dems have already done it and are still doing it.
He is not protected from anonymity. He is protected from losing his job. As glm pointed out, he is not a whistle blower. He is being kept quiet to protect those who concocted this whole mess. Put him under oath and another set of socialist dominoes begin to fall.

BUT.......
"Disclosing the name of a whistleblower is perhaps one of the worst forms of retaliation," Kohn said. "Trump's obligations are not just to protect this whistleblower's identity. It only begins there. The law says he has to ensure that nobody in the executive branch leaks out his name."
Not sure where you are getting your info.

Sec 7b of the IGA of 1978 protects the confidentiality of the whistleblower’s identity.
Apparently, his identity was well known except to the American people. I would opine that "one would have to be the lowest level of scum" to initiate a coup for partisan political reasons as these people are doing. None of this is about protecting America - it is all about politics.
It was leaked by a news source, according to a previous post in this thread. What is your complaint?
I would rather have a POTUS praising the USA instead of one embarking on a World Apology Tour - wouldn't you. The Russian stuff was a hoax. What makes you think this isn't? How can you justify and/or agree with any of the actions of the Dems - much less trust them?

Report: Whistleblower at Obama White House when Ukrainians told to drop Burisma probe
he impeachment whistleblower's concern about President Trump's discussion of Hunter Biden in the July phone call with Ukrainian President Zelensky may have had something to do with his hosting of a meeting at the White House in which Ukrainian officials were told to drop an investigation into the former vice president's son, according to investigative reporter John Solomon.
Why does it matter who the whistleblower is? They aren’t offering any evidence one way or another in this impeachment hearing.
The whistleblower could be Obama or Hillary, and it still wouldn’t matter.
What matters is that we have a president that is conducting foreign policy not to advance US foreign policy objectives but to advance his 2020 campaign. What he wanted was an ANNOUNCEMENT from Ukraine that they were investigating Biden.
The announcement would give him political ammo. Why else would he be asking for an announcement?
He delayed the aid for months clearly hoping to get the statement he wanted.
The important issue now is - have we reached the point in American history where we are going to say that currying campaign favors for foreign officials is just a perk of the job of being POTUS?
Because if Trump is not impeached, at this point, Congress has essentially granted this permission to Trump and all future presidents, Democrats, Republicans and Socialists alike to ask for campaign assistance from foreign officials.
If you can’t see what impact this has on our ability to maintain a true democratic republic, please reconsider and imagine this happening with Obama or Hillary as president.
They did worse, but it continues to be ignored...

Impeachment witnesses pressed Ukraine to drop Soros-group probe
Kent, Yovanovitch handed officials 'do not prosecute' list during 2016 election
Two U.S. diplomats to Ukraine testifying in the impeachment investigation of President Trump this week pressed Ukraine during the 2016 election to stop its investigation of a non-profit funded in part by the State Department and George Soros, who spent millions that year to help Hillary Clinton win the White House.
The non-profit also collaborated with the FBI agents investigating one-time Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort's business activities with pro-Russian figures in Ukraine.
Investigative reporter John Solomon recalled on Thursday the story he first reported in March because it sheds light on what he terms "the real Ukraine controversy," the alleged meddling by the Obama State Department in the affairs of a sovereign nation, contrary to the Geneva Convention, on behalf of a non-profit funded by a left-wing activist billionaire.
George Kent, the chargé d'affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Kiev, requested in a letter to the Ukrainian general prosecutor's office in April 2016 that its prosecution of the Anti-Corruption Action Center be dropped.
TRENDING: Jordan to star witness Taylor: 'I've seen church prayer chains that are easier to understand than this'
And a few months later, Ukraine's new general prosecutor, Yuri Lutsenko, told Solomon he was stunned when U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch "gave me a list of people whom we should not prosecute," including the Anti-Corruption Action Center.

Ukraine foreign minister: No links between aid, investigations
'There was no clear connection between these events'
By WND Staff

The Democrats' impeachment campaign against President Trump is centered on a claim that he used the threat of withholding U.S. aid to pressure Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden.
However, in a statement published by Interfax-Ukraine, Ukraine Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko said Thursday that U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland never asked him for investigations into Joe Biden's son's role in Ukraine while Biden was vice president.

Biden bragged he got a prosecutor fired in exchange for $billions in US aid. That is quid pro quo at its finest.
Just watch that video, it's all there.
And by association, Obama most of all.
Biden told them to call Obama if they didn't think the money would be held up if the prosecutor wasn't fired, meaning (obviously) that Obama was in on the plan. I think someone should start asking if Obama WAS contacted as Biden suggested. Maybe Trump can look into this as well.....I support his efforts.

Now that was really stupid on Trump's part! Of course it wasn't tampering with the witness as Schiff did that by reading it to her on TV. She didn't even know Trump had posted that ridiculous tweet at the time.

No mention of Bidens, Burisma while Ukraine military aid was held up, State official testifies
David Hale, the State Department’s No. 3 official, testified in a Nov. 6 closed-door deposition that no one in the Trump administration or any "government channel" ever mentioned former Vice President Joe Biden or his son Hunter as a reason for withholding aid from Ukraine, according to a transcript of his remarks released late Monday by House Democrats in their impeachment inquiry.
Democrats have argued that the White House improperly pressured Ukraine to look into the Bidens and Burisma Holdings, the natural gas company where Hunter Biden held a lucrative role despite limited expertise while his father oversaw Ukraine policy as vice president. George Kent, a State Department official who has also testified in the impeachment investigation, said he flagged Hunter Biden's apparent conflict of interestto the Obama administration at the time.
However, Hale said, he saw the Bidens referenced only in media reports -- as well as in a "speculative" email from former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch, who testified last week. Hale is scheduled to testify publicly Wednesday.

Schiff omits evidence backing Trump in 'key excerpts' of testimony
Top National Security Council official saw nothing illegal in Ukraine phone call
Democrats made no mention of evidence supporting President Trump when they released "key excerpts" of the closed-door testimony of senior National Security Council official Tim Morrison in their impeachment inquiry.
Morrison, who was listening in on Trump's July 25 phone call with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky, told House Intelligence Committee members in his deposition Oct. 31 that he was never concerned that Trump discussed anything illegal.
But when Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., and his staff released the transcript on Saturday, they issued a summary spotlighting hearsay testimony by Morrison while ignoring the official's first-hand account of the phone call at the center of the Democrats' impeachment inquiry, noted Breitbart News editor Joel Pollack.
Pollack pointed out that the committee had withheld the transcript since Oct. 31, releasing it only after public hearings began last week.
Morrison's statement -- "I was not concerned that anything illegal was discussed" -- does not appear in the Democrats' "key excerpts" document.

Schiff is a robot. He never turns his head. Never looks at anyone. Stares ahead, a bug eyed freak.
Adam Schiff and the coup and socialist/marxist Dems are taking a absolute beating this afternoon and tonight.
Yes Morrison and Volger are solid, appear good at their jobs and very believable bipartisan as they should be. The Dems assumed way too much and really got way the heck out in front of the skies out of HATE. And the GOP on the committee have finally hammered the ridiculousness of this process with great cross examinations/questions leading the American people to the same.
I wonder if the Senate vote on removing Trump from Office will be a closed session with secret ballots. After all, Chief Justice Roberts will be calling the shots.
“What did Ambassador Sondland tell you that he told Mr. Yermak?” Democratic counsel Daniel Goldman asked (Republican witness) Morrison. Morrison replied, “That the Ukrainians would have to have the prosecutor general make a statement with respect to the investigations as a condition of having the aid lifted.”
This is the Republican star witness? If so, they have to be disappointed.
Volker: “Since I gave my testimony on October 3, a great deal of additional information and perspectives have come to light. I’ve learned many things I did not know at the time of the events in question. First, at the time I was connecting Mr. Yarmuk and Mr. Giuliani–and discussing with Mr. Yarmuk and Ambassador [Gordon] Sondland a possible statement that could be made by the Ukrainian president, I did not know of any linkage between the hold on security assistance and Ukraine pursuing investigations–no one had ever said that to me and I never conveyed such a linkage to the Ukrainians.”
“I opposed the hold on U.S. security assistance as soon as I learned about it on July 18th and thought we could turn it around before the Ukrainians ever knew or became alarmed about it,” Volker continued. “I did not know the reason for the hold but I viewed it as a U.S. policy program that we needed to fix internally and I was confident that we could do so.”
“I now understand that others saw the idea of investigating possible corruption involving the Ukrainian company, 'Burisma' as equivalent to investigating former Vice President Biden," said Volker. "I saw them as very different. The former being appropriate and unremarkable, the latter being unacceptable."
“When I spoke to the Ukrainians about the hold,” Volker continued, “I told them the opposite–that they should not be alarmed; that it was an internal U.S. problem and we were working to get it fixed. I did not know others were conveying a different message to them around the same time.”
“I think the allegations against Biden are self-serving and not credible,” Volker said later on.
The way I heard the testimony from Volker was different. He heard the discussion about “investigations” as investigating corruption. He learned later that some interpreted it as “investigate Biden”. Morrison was trying to say that he was worried about the interpretations that would be spewed about the call, so he spoke to counsel about it. The libs tried to twist his statement or just cut him off. Vindman thought the info on the call was so telling and so damning that he jumped Mr. Morrison and reported to someone else who had instructed him to skip Morrison. Ms. Williams heard the same call and thought nothing of it and didn’t make it a point to harp on it with others.
Seems we can all interpret what we hear or think we hear differently. The difference is what really happened. Did Trump withhold aid because of legitimate concerns that none of us are privy to and maybe, just maybe, they fact was not leaked from the WH or Intel community? Did he release the funds because he got caught in what some called an attempt at quid pro quo or bribery?
Look at what actually happened. Aid was released with no favors given. Was Trump unethical, possibly and probably. Was it impeachable? Hardly.
Bribery doesn’t require the other party to do anything or even accept the bribe.
Whatever happened to those that championed “drain the swamp”? Trump is the most corrupt president we have had since Nixon, and he is quite possibly worse.
Conversely, I abstained in 2016 but will gladly pull vote for Trump in 2020. Once we have finished investigating the FISA abuse and Russia collusion BS, I want to re-visit the IRS scandal (THAT ONE is so banana republic) and the Fast and Furious scandal of the Obama administration.
The patriot act needs to be repealed.
In his opening statement, Sondland told the committee that he did not wish to work with Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, who was pushing for investigations into Ukraine's role in the 2016 election and Burisma, an energy company whose board included former Vice President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden. But he said he and other officials "played the hand we were dealt" and "followed the President's orders" to work with the former New York City mayor.
"Mr. Giuliani’s requests were a quid pro quo for arranging a White House visit for President Zelensky" in exchange for "a public statement announcing investigations of the 2016 election/DNC server and Burisma." He also said Giuliani "was expressing the desires of the President of the United States, and we knew that these investigations were important to the President."
Sondland said he came to believe that military aid to Ukraine was suspended "until there was a public statement from Ukraine committing to the investigations."
"came to believe" LOL
Let's remember why the former New York City mayor was there to begin with. As Trump's personal defense attorney, he was trying to figure out the origins of the whole Russia collusion Ukraine connection, which is exactly what he should have been doing while Mueller was doing the real quid pro quo thing with his attempts to "flip" so-called witnesses by threatening their very lives with process crimes. Nothing to offer? Off to jail you go. Trump was preparing a defense to whatever BS charges may have been made up and included in the Mueller report (which the dems - and a lot of repubs - wanted to use to impeach the president to return to the status quo where they control everything).
This is still exhaust from the Russian hoax, which will hopefully be resolved with the IG report where the real law breakers will end up in prison. Not holding my breath for that to happen, but I can hope.
Trump 2020 makes it closer to reality.
Ok, Boomer.
More baloney. Mueller russian investigation, Clintons emails, fast and furious, Rudy the defense attorney, etc, are completely irrelevant to Trump's behavior in extorting Ukraine to start phony investigations into the fantasy corruption of the Bidens. What is relevant is that Joe Biden is running for President and Trump wanted to create some make believe dirt on him. And he used the Office of the President to concoct and execute a scheme to achieve such a result. That is what the facts show.
The facts show Biden admitting corruption.
Looks like Guisslapp has been giving you a ton of green to get you out of the solid red. Or are you really Guisslapp hiding behind the salty name?
You two come out of the woodwork when you think Trump might finally be toast; after disappearing when the "Russian collusion" and "cover-up" went over like a "fart in church"? Big bandwagon losers maybe?

Schiff gets 3 'Pinocchios' from Washington Post over whistleblower claim
By Bradley Evans, The Western Journal
Published November 20, 2019 at 7:22pm
https://www.wnd.com/2019/11/schiff-gets-3-pinocchios-washington-post-whistleblower-claim/
I already posted the law and the cited WaPo article mentions it as well:
“ Federal law expressly restricts the inspector general’s office from disclosing whistleblowers’ identities. It says that “the Inspector General shall not disclose the identity of the employee without the consent of the employee, unless the Inspector General determines that such disclosure is unavoidable during the course of the investigation or the disclosure is made to an official of the Department of Justice responsible for determining whether a prosecution should be undertaken.””
If you turn in your whistleblower complaint to the IG, like this whistleblower did, you are protected unless there is an unavoidable disclosure (not the case here even with the Republicans best effort) or it is referred to the DOJ (impeachment of a president doesn’t go through the DOJ).
In this specific context, one could call it a statutory right to anonymity, though it is dependent on what actions the IG takes (determination of unavoidable disclosure or referral to DOJ - where ones due process right to confront their accuser kicks in).
The identity of the whistleblower is irrelevant to these proceedings. Their complaint is based on the information we have all now seen.
If you want more facts, it would be helpful to hear from others that were closer to the situation - Mulvaney, Pompeo, Guiliani, Trump, Pence. Trump won’t let them talk. Wonder why.
