The Big Lie 2024: A Peek Inside the Ruling Elite's Playbook to Kneecap Trump, Purge Military, and Neutralize MAGA - Revolver
Hmmm...
I used to love presidential politics. And no, I don't know why. :shocked2: Guess it was the whole Iowa Caucus and the long, several months, of following the candidates, and I was equally interested in both parties. It is a part of Americana, our political system, our history. Then it was on to New Hampshire with its unique voting system, the polls opening at midnight in some counties. And it was watching how the handlers for each candidate spin the results. Candidate Joe Blow finished a "strong 4th in Iowa, and now finished 2nd in New Hampshire...he's on the move, climbing up in support!" Then Joe Blow gets wasted in South Carolina and his whole campaign crumbles.
But now the Grand Theft Election of 2020 has soured me on the whole process. And how divided the country has become too. After the 2022 Midterms the POTUS 2024 campaigning begins, really in January 2023 when potential candidates will start to emerge.
The Dem Party is strongly considering ending the Iowa Caucus and also not having Iowa among the first stops in the primaries. They say Iowa is not diverse enough. Keep in mind like all political parties the Dem Party is a private organization (in their case a for-profit organization!) and can do whatever it wishes. Like other political parties both the Dems and the GOP could suspend the primaries and choose their candidates at a convention with selected delegates deciding. But, like many people say, including and mostly Dem voters, if the party is going to have a public primary system, then stop the tampering and the cheating and allow voters to decide who gets the nomination. The fix is in by the Dem Party elite committee.
I suspect the whole 2024 presidential election cycle will be one for the books.
Sources say DeSantis will seek the GOP nomination for 2024. This will split the Republican Party creating an internal power struggle which will probably lead to a Dem win in the general election. I like DeSantis but 2024 is not his time to run for POTUS. Oh, I understand his political advisors are telling him he is a hot commodity right now and represents a great time to run for the WH. But, the damage that will be done whether he gets the nomination or not will wreck the GOP's bid for the WH and also damage the critical congressional races denying the GOP gaining seats in Congress.
We all have seen how goofy GOP voters can be when their guy doesn't get the nomination. There is the great case study right here in Louisiana and why we have been saddled with JBE for 8 years. Stupid GOP voters will stay home and hand the general election to the Dems because they can't get over their guy not getting the nomination. And this will certainly happen in 2024 when the losing side of Trump vs. DeSantis is left disappointed. I am supporting Trump for the GOP nomination, but if DeSantis wins it then I am supporting DeSantis full tilt in the general election.
Now, what might happen is Trump takes a nice lead in the primaries and DeSantis quits to become the VP nominee. If DeSantis enjoys the lead Trump won't quit and then he'll just attack DeSantis relentlessly and do the Dems dirty work for them. The Dems have their own problems about getting a nominee for 2024 but when that dust settles, they will cast aside their petty differences and get behind the winning candidate.
Speaking of which, the Dems have ditched Iowa and relegated New Hampshire to a lesser status by having South Carolina as the first primary.
Mitt Romney type republicans occupying the WH are more dangerous than having a dem in there.
If you want the hideous laundry list of dem policies to get fast tracked, just vote for the RINO. Romney, McCain and Jeb Bush would have been far worse for America than Obama or Biden have been, because there would have been party line votes pushed by these guys for policies in complete opposition to the values of their voters.
At least the way it turned out real Americans could act as the loyal opposition to pushing the nation toward socialism and and the eroding of our rights.
Yeah, I'll stay home. Republican means nothing to me.
Early watch prediction...
if Robert Kennedy, Jr. plays his cards right, he will be the next POTUS (2024).
Now, that is a big IF. His connections need to outline a plan for him to be libtard wacky enough to secure the Dem nomination without completely offending/turning off independents, and then switch to a moderate stance in the general election. This can be tricky, but if handled properly, he can pull it off. This also assumes he doesn't have some Hunter Biden-type crap that will surface later.
"Exhaustion"
A nationwide poll asked voters how they are feeling about a possible Trump-Biden rematch. The choices ranged from Not Happy to Elated and a host of possibilities in-between. The number one choice, garnering 67% of the responses was EXHAUSTION. I can understand why. This is mostly due to the lamestream media propping up, covering for Biden, while launching unfounded attacks against Trump. Many people, I dare say MOST, are simply tired of hearing about both of them and wish neither would run. The shame of it is, that is warranted in the case of the douchebag Biden, but the tragic part is how the Left/lamestream media has successfully painted Trump as someone he is not and have done so with a constant barrage day after day. Weak-minded folks (who are otherwise decent) have grown weary of the whole mess. That has been the goal of the Left, to hammer the minds of Americans with anti-Trump lies knowing that a segment of the voting populace would scream, "Enough!" And, it has worked too.
And this is why I think someone like Robert Kennedy, Jr. has a chance to "steal" the dem nomination and then he will smoke Trump in the general election. Long way to go, though.
Karl Rove says the party that dumps the "exhausting" candidate will win the WH in 2024. Biden vs. a generic GOP candidate, the GOP wins. Trump vs. a generic Dem candidate, the Dem wins.
Biden vs. Trump? Might be two third-party candidates, one from each side, garnering significant votes to make it interesting. Ross Perot got 19% and put Bill Clinton in. And Ralph Nader took enough votes away from Gore in Florida to hand it and the election to George Bush.
A libtard YouTuber posted a video captioned, "Something appears to be wrong with Joe Biden." Ya think!? :shocked2:
I really like Vivek Ramaswamy. Of course, he dosen't stand a prayer of even getting close to the GOP nomination and/or winning the general election. But, I like his ideas.
Karl Rove is the architect of the failure the republican party has become. He needs to be shelved, but the RINOs love him.
ABC poll has Trump leading Biden 45-38% in a head-to-head matchup.
Vivek Ramaswamy moves into second place in GOP primary polling, but in just one poll. He is at 12.2% to Desantis' 12%, a virtual tie and certainly well within the margin of error. DeSantis is the true 2nd place holder way behind Trump. Just interesting that Ramaswamy is surging while DeSantis appears dead in the water.
Federal trial for Trump set for May 24, 2024. This will be after Trump has won the GOP nomination, which is exactly what the judge wanted, or what she was told she wanted by the powers that be. Trial will take 2 months or so. If Trump is convicted of a felony, he can't run for POTUS, leaving the GOP to scramble to find another candidate only 4 months from the general election. This is all by design. Now, one good thing from this timing is IF Trump is acquitted. The other bogus trials can't begin until the Federal case is settled. So, the kangaroo courts in New York, Miami, DC, and Atlanta can't begin until probably that fall or in 2025.
I keep telling myself: Ballot box over the ammo box. But, it's getting harder and harder to subscribe to that.
There are no rules that say a convicted felon can’t run for President.
Trump is NOT a felon and won't be. All these charges are fake, bogus. Biden has committed felonies, but his corrupt DOJ/FBI will not pursue charges. And, yes, Trump is by far the best candidate for POTUS. He's exactly what this country, the free world, needs desperately. Hopefully this time he'll have a Congress with balls who will stand with him.
I do like other GOP hopefuls, such as Vivek Ramaswamy, Tim Scott, Ron DeSantis, and am okay with a few others. But, they can all run in 2028. We need Trump in 2024. And, I would hope (which springs eternal) even some less-than-enthusiastic-for-Trump voters will see how critical it is to send a message to The Swamp that their attempt to weaponize the DOJ against political opponents will not stand in this country. This, if for no other reason, is why EVERY true American patriot should vote for Trump. Otherwise, we'll see this happen again and again, and maybe next time it will be a candidate that YOU really like.
Sheeesh! A vegen! :rolleyes4:
This might seem trivial, even shallow, but Robert Kennedy, Jr's voice is ANNOYING! And I do think it affects his ability to mount a real run for office, any office. One thing is absolutely critical in being successful seeking public office, especially the POTUS, and that is being able to communicate. I won't be voting for Kennedy, Jr in any case as he's a demwit, but as an observation I do think he is handicapped because of his scratchy voice.
Under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment regarding "insurrection" and Federal statute 18 of Code 2071 "possession of classified documents" convictions can disqualify someone holding the office of POTUS. But, the 14th Amendment thingy is unclear since it has NEVER been applied to the Office of President before and requires Congress to vote to disqualify someone. The Code 2071 can apply except as POTUS Trump had the authority to declassify documents. Given the kangaroo courts and the biased juries to come, Trump is assured of being convicted on the charges. Remains to be seen if a more sensible appeals court will overturn the convictions.
Looky here! I kind of agree with you about Ramaswamy. I like a lot of his ideas, like abolishing the Federal Dept. of Education, but he is dead wrong on world affairs, our foreign policy. He agrees with you on the world supporting Putin and handing him Ukraine. He also thinks the world should help a smooth/peaceful handover of Taiwan to the Chicoms. He is too naive and dangerous to be in the White House. So, I have marked him off my list.
I had no plans to watch the debate last night, but dern, I just like presidential politics (God help me!). Pence and Ramaswamy got the most airtime. But, I think the overall winners were:
1. Desantis
2. Pence
3. Ramaswamy
Vivek for no other reason than he got the exposure he needed. He was the most Googled candidate last night as people tried to learn something about him.
I think we'll see a slight change in the polls. i.e. Desantis will shave a few points off of Trump's lead, but that will fade away over the next few weeks. Pence came across as "presidential" he was calm, well-informed, and "mature." He should also see a small bounce in the poll numbers. The rest were just out there. No other candidate did a thing to drastically alter their poll numbers.
Of course, all those on the stage last night are doing no more than vying for second place. Trump has the GOP nomination locked up.
I heard someone say that Vivek is Trump's proxy (intentional or not). Since he's financially independent in a way the others aren't, he can say things that the voters actually want to hear.
I agree he's dangerous but I don't think naive. His view of America as a proposition nation melting pot affects the way he views border policy. I like a lot of the words he says but I don't think he can be trusted.
DeSantis continues to have no charisma. He should have waited until the next election, imo. He's got very little charisma, especially next to Vivek and of course Trump.
Did anyone watch Tucker + Trump?
I have seen some short excerpts from the Tucker-Trump thingy, but I haven't watched the whole thing, and have no plans to. I can guess what was said about most of the issues.
Pro tran Fox News is such a turd now...limiting access to the "debate" playback segments and no-no questions on things like this stupid gender crap.
Leading up to the debate, there was so much gnashing of teeth and screeching on how "hateful" and "bigoted" this debate was doing to be and all of the attacks against LGBTQ etc. and not a single question was asked about it. Now they are pissed off and upset that no questions were asked ROFL..
I think that's because most people don't give a damn about trans/LGBTQ issues except when some group tries to force it on them and/or approach their kids with it. I won't support violence or discrimination against such folks, but I also will not tolerate their trying to force their lifestyle on me, and mine. I pray for them and hope they realize the errors of their way. God will welcome them back should they truly change their hearts.
So, when it comes to discussions of the issues, I would simply tell the trans/LGBTQ comnunity you are not that important to us and don't warrant any questions.
The Twitterverse was blowing up in my feed with folks accusing Ramaswamy of being against a bunch of stuff as a GOP candidate that he was in favor of before running. When pressed, no examples of specific “stuff”. One person even commented he was quoted to say he was in favor of a registry of the unvaxxed. No justification. Anyone have examples of his being wishy washy?
Ramaswamy is squarely in the crosshairs of The Swamp now. Look for Trump-like false charges to surface, and all kinds of rumors, misinformation, etc. to try to discredit and silence him. You know we REGULAR folks, voters/taxpayers rail against career politicians expressing a desire to be able to support and vote for "outsiders," people who adhere to the original intent of public service/office holding and want only to serve one or two terms, do a good job for their charges (local, state, or federal) and return to their REAL jobs and lives. But there is a whole world that exists, we call it "The Swamp" or "The Deep State" or by some other name, and it is occupied/controlled by career bureaucrats and elected officials who derive enormous wealth and power from it and guard it viciously. So, one can become a member of this empire, but you have to sell your soul to the powers-that-be and be accepted by them. If you intend to buck the system and threaten their hold on power, they will come after you.
The Swamp (which I call the whole mess) has bought off the lamestream media, which is supposed to be "the fourth estate" and be a watchdog of the government, regardless of which party is in power. We all know that's not the case now. And this is how they control the mind-numb masses, feeding them false information. Yes, I know, everyone on this forum knows that...except for Goosey and a couple of others who still believe everything they are told by CNN/MSNBC.
So! Vivek Ramaswamy has to be extra careful. Hide nothing from his past. Own it, explain it, apologize for it, if necessary and do not even get a parking ticket or the beasts will turn it into a felony offense and come after him.
The GOP is trying to lose the next POTUS election. They hate Trump.
Lots of chatter in social media about African Americans voting for Trump in 2024. Of course, they are catching hell about being traitors to the race, etc. In 2016 Trump won and he had only 8% of the black vote. In 2020 he won...well of course the election was stolen...and he got 12% of the black vote. Now polls are showing Trump's support among blacks topping 20% and increasing monthly. As one black blogger posted: the more you indict, the more we unite [behind Trump].
Trump 2024! All true American Patriots must unite behind Trump, if for no other reason than to show the commie bastards that weaponizing the judicial system against a political opponent will not work in the USA. This is not some third-world banana republic.
Just remember there are many people here (Tech grads/fans) who hate Trump enough to support this banana republic government and the swamp they say does not exist. Those people don't post much anymore.
There is probably a significant element of fear as well. Admitting that we have had a fake government (for a long time) has pretty terrifying implications. Better to ignore it and pretend we have a constitutional republic with checks and balances and free association between States.
Lots of truth here.
This is nothing new, really. In the 1950's a book was published entitled "The Shadows of Power" and it focused mostly on the banking system, the big banks, the international banks as the author said they were the financiers of the movement toward "elitism." The international banks were able to cross borders and spread their "globalism." But who were the big banks backing financially? Well, you know who, politicians of course. It's a complex issue with many, many players, but suffice it to say, yes, you are right. BTW that book is no longer in print, it was removed from all public libraries, the last of the copies gone around 1980 or so. And there is another book, published more recently by James Perloff with that same title. It pretends to be concerned about globalism but blames the Republicans, especially presidents Wilson and Reagan. It's a BS book and I think it was published purposely to usurp the title. I have a friend and former business associate who has a copy of the 1950's book, which he guards carefully. I wanted to borrow it, but he refuses to let it leave his house. He did allow me to read some pages he had marked...quite disturbing.
Anyway, while this is nothing new...it actually dates back to the founding of the United States and reared its ugly head in earnest before, during, and after the "Civil War." That's another story for another time. For now, it is up to those of us who know the truth to try to fight the good fight.
Trump 2024!
Pence "suspends" presidential bid. Hah! that implies he might pick it up again for 2024. How about a proper headline: "Loser Pence QUITS Presidential Race."
GOP so-called "challengers" are dropping like flies. This race is already over and everyone knows it.
Since me and Mike Pence had the same chance of winning the presidency, I'd like to take this moment to also suspend my campaign.
Haley is "surging" into 2nd place in the polls. I put surging in quotes because that is how some media outlets and anti-Trumpsters are phrasing it. It's not a surge, more a case of Haley picking up support from the candidates who have dropped out. Any chance Haley has (and it's remote) depends on her winning South Carolina, which is the third race. Newt Gingrich won South Carolina in his presidential bid in 2012 but it was the only primary he won. It's her home turf, Newt is from Georgia, but that was close enough for him. Haley has to win South Carolina, and she has to do well in Iowa and New Hampshire first. At this point it's Trump's race to lose, and the ONLY candidate with a snowball's chance is Nikki Haley.
I have always liked presidential politics. Don't ask me why. I suppose it's so "American" or at least it was. I hope it continues to be "so American" but it's dangerously close to losing its meaning and importance. Only we true Americans can save it and our other traditions.
The danger lies in the decision-making being removed from the average voter. It is true the political parties are private organizations and do not have to conduct these national primaries. Any political party can meet in committee, behind closed doors, and choose their candidate. Most, if not all, of the minor parties do just that since they cannot afford to sponsor primaries across the country. The dems and the Repubs could do the same thing if they wished. But historically the two major parties have gone to the voters, the people, and asked "we the people" to select their candidates for the general election. Special interests, The Swamp, the Deep State, the Inside-the-Belt gang, however you wish to call it, has been working to dismantle the national election system, and certainly the primaries are a prime target too.
This is why I love presidential politics, it has been an American concept/ideal and I hope we don't see it destroyed. Yep! this is why I like it so.
So, the anti-democracy forces strike in Colorado as 4 un-elected judges booted Trump off the state's presidential election ballot. Most likely the US Supreme Court will over-rule those commie bastards and restore Trump to the ballot. It doesn't matter anyway as Trump was not going to carry the libtard Colorado and win the 9 electoral college votes there. Well, hopefully, he might now if there are enough true Americans left in Colorado. Look for other blue and purple states to follow Colorado's lead on this if the USSC doesn't act quickly and rule it unconstitutional. In the bigger picture some say this will boost Trump's popularity as they are turning him into a victim, a martyr.
All of this is a shame. I used to be, and am still trying to be, a fan of the whole presidential election process. Beginning with the Iowa caucus, to New Hampshire, and then on to South Carolina, the jockeying for votes and the "spin" the candidates and their handlers would put on a 2nd or even a 3rd place finish was fascinating. Back in 2012 I attended rallies and got to meet Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich on the campaign trail in Louisiana. Spoke to both of them, briefly, and spent some time with some of their campaign managers. It is interesting how they view each state's primary and the candidate's chances in other primaries.
The azzhole Dems have wrecked their primary process eliminating the traditional Iowa to NH, etc...schedule. They are pure evil.
I thought it was good that Vivek said he would withdraw from Colorado unless Trump was restored. He's the only one who understands that the R race right now is to see who's Trump's pick. I have my problems with Vivek but he's definitely the smartest in the field right now. No one else knows what the game is.
46% of those polled, in a national survey, have lost faith and interest in national politics, the two major parties, the whole process of the primaries, how we elect people to office, and more stuff like that. Maybe this is actually a good sign. Before any problem can be solved, one has to first admit THERE IS A PROBLEM!
I agree with the overall sentiment of what the respondents are saying. Of course, the article tries to blame Trump for this drop in support for the election process. Blah, blah, blah...you know what it said. And of course, the article steered clear of all the hanky-panky that went on, the state legislatures violating the Constitution usurping Congressional power, authority and oversight of national elections, and the Dem-controlled Congress happily allowing it to happen. And the article did not mention all the many election fraud cases being prosecuted across the nation, all of them in blue states and blue cities...lots of wrist-slapping going on as local lib judges want to go easy on their fellow libs. But, the point remains, Americans don't like what is going on with the two major parties.
And, to be fair, Trump has contributed to this overall erosion of support for the process by not participating in the GOP debates. Yeah, I get it, he's so far out front there was no need to participate. But the debates are, or were, a part of the presidential election process and he thumbed his nose at it. Another part of the process are all the candidates campaigning hard, on the ground, in Iowa. Showing up in cafes and speaking to a "crowd" of 20 people and being very active at the Iowa state fair. It is, or was, part of Americana. Then also campaigning in townhalls in New Hampshire, again to small gatherings. Talking directly with the people, the voters. And on to South Carolina where the campaign began to change, becoming more dependent on mass marketing, TV ads, and speeches to larger crowds. By then, after three contests, the weak candidates drop out and the remainders press on.
Maybe it is time for a change. Perhaps the destruction of the exclusive two-party system and the advent of stronger third parties is exactly what this nation needs. Thoughts?
I like the campaign efforts with small groups of voters. I wish we had more of that in every state. These small groups jumping on social media immediately after a cafe or town hall meeting would be a great barometer. Debate appearances should be required. GOP, Dem, and other party debates with all nominees before a primary and then at least 1 debate before general. If you don’t meet the qualifications or don’t show up, your name is removed from consideration. By now, we should have the field whittled down to 1 candidate per party with hopefully more than 2 parties represented. I think if we had more time to see the 1 candidate representing GOP, Dems, Green, Indies, and whatever else, then we would really know what each is about and be better able to vote.
Fat boy Christie is out. Says he spent ONLY $12 million on his campaign. Needs to reserve the rest of his war chest for frequent trips to McDonald's.
Nikki Haley is getting crucified by the staunch Trumpers, of which I am a part, but I agree with Reagan's mantra about not attacking fellow Republicans. It's okay to disagree on policy issues, it's fine to point out differences, but one should stop short of demonizing fellow Republicans. The real enemy are the commie bastards i.e. the democraps. Some of the YouTubers and Bloggers I follow are on the all-out attack against Haley. They are going too far in these attacks, IMO.
The leftist fascists keep calling Trump a dictator.
Well, I am looking forward to the day when this "dictator" gets back into office so we can get away from all these asinine, Soviet-style executive "mandates". (DEI mandates, mask mandates, electric vehicle stupidity among others.) Yep, democracy is at stake here, and it isn't Trump moving us away from it!
A pissed off Donald Trump is just what we need.
Someone tried to present DeSantis a "participation trophy" at his event last night. Thanked him for his "participation" and thanks for playing. DeSantis seemed perplexed as he thought, at first, it was legit and it took a moment before DeSantis' handlers ushered the guy out of the building. DeSantis kind of grinned when he realized he had been had. Got to have a sense of humor.
The anti-Trumpers have grown so desperate they are making up new "rules" for what the results of the Iowa Caucus mean. Now they are saying if Trump gets less than 50% of the vote in Iowa it's a defeat since that will mean that more people voted against him than for him. Okay, so if Trump gets 49% and the second-place finisher gets say, 25%, that doesn't mean that 75% of the voters don't want him/her? George Bush in 2000 is the ONLY Republican who won Iowa and went on to win the nomination. With a track record like that it seems to me that losing in Iowa bodes well! It's amazing the lengths the Swampers will go to trying to discredit Trump and sway voters away from him.
In 2016, the last competitive GOP Iowa Caucus, the results were: Ted Cruz 28%, Trump 24%, Marco Rubio 23%. Hmmm...who won the GOP nomination in 2016?
The polls have just opened and FOX News has already called it for Trump. The final margin and who finishes 2nd is still undecided, but according to exit polling, Trump will win Iowa.
I do not want Vivek in the Big Chair but I think he is a smart guy and we would benefit from him having Trump's ear. He's bright enough to know that too.
I'd love to see him at the podium in the press room. He shuts down MS media quicker and better than anyone. That will never happen.
Vivek is just here to get his name out there. Nobody knew him until a few months ago.
Haley is the new Liz Chaney.
IMO, Desantis will hang around as long as he can to keep the new Liz Chaney out. He'll be there for us if the deep state wins. Then they (MSM) will focus on attacking him.
Vivek gave a great speech at Trump's rally in New Hampshire last night. No, really, he nailed it. Then Trump thanked him, spoke highly of him then said "he's going to be working with us, for a long time." There ya go! VP? Maybe, but definitely a cabinet position.
I like Vikek and he has a future in national politics.
Laura Ingram:

Paul Ryan (RINO) says he is supporting Haley because she can unite all Republicans and defeat Biden. When asked (he was on CNBC) about policies, and specifically the policies articulated by Trump, Ryan dismissed it saying, Trump's policies are Republican policies, nothing unique about his positions on the issues. Really? Well, maybe as talking points, but in actually getting things done toward those policies Trump is the only (R) who will try! Haley, Ryan and the rest of the RINOs might talk a good game, but with them it's all just talk.
I like Ron DeSantis and see him being a major factor in the POTUS race...in 2028. But, he is toast this go-around.
Today he said the dems are hoping Trump gets the GOP nomination because Biden can beat him in the general election. But he, and even Haley, will beat Biden in November. Then, in the next breath, he attacks Haley saying she's only getting support and doing "okay" because the dems are flocking to her, voting for her, they did in Iowa and will again in NH. Well, hello! if it's true, Gov. DeSantis, the dems want Trump getting the GOP nomination, why aren't they flocking to Trump in the primaries? Both things can't be true.
No, here's the reality. Haley is a RINO and is seen as being "moderate" not a true conservative, so dems and left-leaning independents are hedging their bet. They figure if the general election is Haley vs. Biden then no matter who wins the country won't lurch to the right. The status quo will mostly remain and even some movement to the right, under a President Haley, won't be extreme. DeSantis is a lot like Trump on the issues, as is Vivek Ramaswamy, and they are all cast into the same lot from the POV of lefties and left-leaning "moderates."
And today, the goofy governor of NH, Sununu, said Senator Tim Scott endorsing Trump is "disrespectful" to Haley. Why? You mean Tim Scott can't endorse the candidate of his choice?
No way Biden gets the nomination again.
DeSantis is out. Not surprised he's out, but his timing is puzzling. Why now, before the South Carolina primary? Something must have happened, or perhaps some kind of promise made.
NH is voting. First report is from the tiny hamlet of Dixville which votes right after midnight on election day. Haley 6 Trump 0 (those are the actual votes). Guess she missed the PAT.
Trump 55% Haley 43% New Hampshire
Goofy Nevada is having both a primary, where no delegates are awarded, and a caucus two days later, where delegates are awarded. Trump is favored to sweep all the Nevada delegates. That is in first week of February. Then South Carolina and Michigan follow in March. Haley is being defiant and is spending a ton of RINOs money.
Moronic democrap voters never cease to amaze me. In poll after poll, including a recent poll in New Hampshire of (D) voters, they say the #1 issue needing attention is the southern border crisis, and in the very next instant, over 70% of them say they will vote for Biden in the general election. Such a disconnect!
Idiots...:icon_roll:
The Dems are celebrating. A Trump nomination means a Democratic win in November. Whatever screwup the Dems put up, it won't be Hillary.
Fetterman has gotten better, physically and mentally, and is now making more sense than the rest of the democraps combined. With one exception...Rep. Dean Phillips (D) Minnesota, who is also running for POTUS. I like what he's saying...provided it's not just talk...he too is speaking correctly on the issues. Of course, he is a dem and from the very libtard state of Minny-soda so who knows what he really thinks about the issues. But at least he is saying most of the right things.
Phillips is for securing the border (so he says), so if you're a dem, you hate Trump, think Biden is nothing but a royal f**k up (which he is), then get behind this Phillips fellow in the primaries. He appears to check all the boxes for the typical dem.
This refers to the 2022 Congressional election(s) but I am putting this here because the 2024 POTUS looms next and the democraps will cheat again, just like they always have.
A dem operative in New Jersey, Craig Callaway, has been arrested and charged with felony voter fraud stemming from stolen ballots, ballot stuffing, and bribes during the 2022 Congressional election. He and a dozen of his buddies face serious charges. Why did it take so long to catch these mugs, been nearly two years. Anyway, just remember, those on the left, the anti-Trumpers, will tell you there is NO VOTER FRAUD! Not ever! This is the 14th such case just in the past 6 months, that I know of, probably missed a bunch. The lamestream media never covers these, and in fact, try to bury such stories to keep the masses just as ignorant as ever.
The dems cheated in the 2020 POTUS election and both Georgia Senate races, they cheated in the 2022 Congressional races...case in point...and in many other races across the nation because 1) they have to cheat to win, and 2) they mostly get away with it. Usually when they are caught it's in some lefty judicial district and some libtard judge just gives them a wrist slap saying don't do it again....really, they mean next time, don't get caught!
Nikki Haley lost to "none of the above" 62% to 30% in the Nevada primary last night. As one YouTuber said, that's like a football team losing to "Bye." Heck, Mike Pence got 4% and he dropped out months ago.
More talk about Biden stepping aside and the dems nominating someone else. That can be a real danger to this country. If the dems actually put up a viable candidate...on the surface...who might win the POTUS election in November. Doesn't matter who the dem is, even a reasonable person with good intentions, because once elected he/she will be overwhelmed by the Deep State and told how he/she will conduct policy.
RFK Jr. and Dean Phillips are both "reasonable" people with the potential to endorse policies that are good for this country. Except for his dirty dealings with the Chicoms Bill Clinton was a "reasonable" president, and who, truthfully would have zero chance of securing the dem nomination in today's commie reality that the dem party has become.
The powers-that-be in the commie (dem) party want Biden because he is nothing but a puppet, clueless what he's doing, absent independent thought. RFK Jr. and Dean Phillips would not be such easy pawns and thus their campaigns have gotten zero traction. Just watch how Phillips was treated when a guest on MSNBC. Wow!
Anyway, we want Biden to continue as the dem nominee, and that looks like it will happen.
Not sure they can keep Biden together until August, but I believe that is the plan. We saw part of the plan unveiled last night. Allowing him to have a presser rather than him just making a statement was part of the plot to force him to step aside in August by parading his weakness for all the world to see. Again, I'm not sure they can keep him somewhat together for another 6 months.
I don't think Newsom can beat Trump, but I'm afraid M.O. can.
Either that or they want to rub it in. In its own way, it's a display of power. Consider the circumstances just that day.
1. Bukele gives one of the most powerful political speeches in recent history, proving that crime is a choice by our leaders as a weapon against us
2. Putin gives an erudite history lecture to Carlson of the last 1200 years of Russian history, showing a deep concern for his own people and place (who was the last US president capable of that? Nixon?)
3. Biden has a fumbling, embarrassing press conference in which he attempts to contradict his own (completely controlled) DOJ by declaring that he is in fact not too retarded to stand trial for his crimes
You can't tell me that's not on purpose.
And yea, I ain't sleeping on Big Mike.
Vivek to be Trump's VP? Looks that way.
During the Super Bowl an ad ran promoting RFK Jr for POTUS 2024 running as an independent. It was a silly ad with a goofy song but maybe that was intended to grab people's attention. Now, on YouTube this morning, RFK Jr. has a short video announcing the formation of a new political party and movement, "We the people."

The two party system needs to be utterly destroyed.
Haley got clobbered in her home state, never had a chance and yet she is claiming a "victory" of sorts. Guess it's like those moral victories when some over-matched team, from the MAC or Belch, only loses by a couple of TDs to Alabama or some such school as that.
Haley's political career...what there was of it...is over, done, kaput! She won't be able to recover from this stupid farce. Had she gotten out after Iowa and endorsed Trump she would still be "in the hunt" for the 2028 GOP nomination or perhaps a place on that ticket. As it is she has committed political suicide, and she is done on the national stage. She MIGHT be able to win some local race, like for school board or something, but she has forever distanced herself from the Republican base and there is no place for her in the democrap party or some third party either.
I don't care because Haley was never on my radar as a potential candidate I would want to be POTUS. But, for her, she has done this to herself. Maybe she knew from the beginning she stood no chance, not in 2024 or ever, so she decided to ride this mule as far as she can just for the "thrill" of it all.
Meanwhile, the even more delusional 'craps seem hell bent on losing the POTUS election sticking with the senile Sleepy Joe. I don't expect rational thought from the 'crap base because they have always voted against their own interests, so here we are. It is amazing though to see poll after poll of DEMOCRAT voters say the border crisis is the number one issue and then in the next breath say they will vote for Biden. Both RFK Jr and Dean Phillips have offered an alternative to Biden as Dems who say they will close the border but maintain other aspects of the commie, democrap platform, so one would think, given this, droves of democrap voters would be supporting one of them, or both, instead of Biden. Oh...but there's that lack of rational thought for dem voters.
I hope Goosey chimes in again. Thinking of "irrational" thoughts reminded me of him.
No way they run Biden.
It will be Newsom
That's why I think Biden will hand over his delegates to him. Newsom is the perfect fit and it eliminates that pesky K.H.. I'm thinking they will stop giving Biden whatever meds they are giving him now, he will get even worse...maybe not even be able to give a speech at that point. I predict Jamie Harrison will give the speech to announce Newsom as the pick.
It is obvious that the Dems are openly bankrolling Haley to pull something from Trump. It's not enough to let her win, but it's enough to gum up the works of a Republican party terrified it might actually have to support a popular president.
Haley could also be banking on being the last one in the ring if Trump is...removed from the race.
I think they would like to run Newsom but I don't know how they pass over Officer Harris: she checks so many entitlement boxes that it's going to be hard to justify going back to someone who is actually competent (if evilly so).
The whole American Demoncratic deep state government is an extension of the Satanic globalist cabal. It’s altogether completely obvious according to scripture. The only thing to be decided is if the right minded people will unite and stand defiant to hold back the forces of evil that are wriggling like snakes to rule over everything and everyone.
I have issues with some of Trump's foreign policy positions too. But, Biden talks a good game but just continues to f**k up everything, including the very policies he claims to advocate. Trump is all about the money when it comes to foreign policy. In that regard he's like the fellow who complains about increasing crime in his town, but is against paying cops more, etc... It's perfectly okay/perfect to insist NATO pony up but it is totally stupid to say the US won't stand with our NATO allies if they are attacked by Putin. Rand Paul is a loony tune too on foreign policy.
Vivek is cut from that same cloth. What amazes me is all these morons who scream and holler about supporting Ukraine and Israel vs. closing our border...HELLO! we can walk and chew gum at the same time, i.e. WE CAN DO BOTH! The little, well-known secret, is it costs very, very little to close the border. Just enforce the law!
Agree, with Trump and Vivek there is more to like than hate for sure. We stand a much better chance of closing the border while also helping allies abroad with those 2 than the current two.
Maybe one of you can explain why, according to polls, Trump continues to lose with the demographic of "white, suburban women, ages 18-45." Do these women like being murdered by some illegal thug? Do they like paying more for gas and groceries? Is it the abortion issue? If so, then that is dumb because Trump doesn't hold a strong anti-abortion position and he is certainly willing to allow states to set their own standards. So...what is it?
They are easily swayed by arguments to compassion, so they are willing to risk a bit of murder and soaring prices and wrecked economy if their heartstrings are tugged.
Good luck finding any politician willing to openly state the obvious solution to that problem, though.
Haley wins the DC primary! That speaks volumes about who is supporting her, eh!
Nothing more needs to be said.
People like Haley and Cheney who represent the leftist GOP keep getting beaten and embarrassed. Unfortunately the haters still control the GOP at this point.
Haley won Vermont, but Trump carried every other primary last night. Word is Haley will announce the suspension of her campaign today. About time.
Interestingly, in actual raw votes, even in states where Haley got trounced by Trump, her totals were close to Biden's votes. What's that tell you about the general election in November?
Also, Biden lost a primary last night, American Somoa, becoming the first incumbent presidential candidate to lose a primary in 44 years. Another chink in Biden's weak armor.
So, Mitch McConnell endorses Trump for POTUS and CNN et al have a major meltdown. Guess ole Mitch won't be getting anymore invitations to DC cocktail parties. I'm not surprised McConnell endorsed Trump as Trump is now the GOP nominee for president. Mitch gets accused of being NOTHING but a RINO with no redeeming qualities, but that simply isn't true. He's a traditionalist believing in and trusting "the process." Unfortunately for him, and for the nation, the Dems don't play by the rules. I've posted before how McConnell "plays fair" while the Dems don't and he never could grasp that, or stubbornly held onto the traditions of the Senate. Those days are gone forever.
McConnell's legacy is rooted in the US Supreme Court where he blocked obummer's last nominee, the VERY crooked/evil Merrick Garland, while standing up for and getting THREE of Trump's nominees appointed.
Anyway, I welcome his endorsement of Trump and hopefully more of the "country club" Republicans will follow his lead.
Got into a shouting match (which I won) with one of those lunatic, white suburban college "educated" Trump-haters yesterday. She (they) make no sense. Her attempted biggest "weapon" was asking, "You watch FOX News? You watch FOX News?" which she kept repeating. She said she watches no news, to which I quickly responded, "Yeah, and your ignorance shows." She also kept attacking Trump on what she claims are his personality flaws. Says "it is widely known that Trump is having affairs all the time." Really? Have you seen how gorgeous Melonia is? BTW, have any of you seen any reports on Trump's current affairs? The lamestream media would be making that their headlines if there was even a hint of it.
She also accuses Trump of being a fascist, but of course she has no clue what fascism is. Says the crisis at the border is not as bad as Fox News tries to make it out to be. And, more ignorant stuff.
Anyway, I finally silenced her for good by telling her it didn't matter how she felt about Trump as her vote doesn't matter. Say what!? she blurted. Yeah, Trump is going to carry Louisiana and garner all of the EC votes so her vote for Biden is useless. Loved the look on her face, that stupid look of "oh damn!" Hah!
The US has called on Ukraine to stop attacks on Russian energy infrastructure, warning that drone strikes could cause global oil prices to rise, as well as US gasoline prices, which could hurt President Joe Biden's re-election bid, according to Financial Times.
Hah! nope, sorry Sleepy Joe, Ukraine will not stop attacking Putin's source of revenue.
Seemed this thread was dead, but Biden's departure revises the game, at least some. To use a football analogy, the GOP was leading in the 3rd quarter 17-6 with Trump at QB and the dems' offense, with Biden at QB, was stymied, going nowhere, game over. Now the dems have benched Biden in favor of a backup QB and no one can be sure if their offense will be changed enough to rally or not. But there are some unknowns and the GOP's 17-6 lead is not large enough to be safe. Game on!
