A majority voted for Obama didn't they? And may do it again. Now that's scary. Palin is just a choice. Obama is a vote for a change in our structure of government.

This is a metaphor. Ford is saying that Tech fans and UL-X's should stop fighting, because they're both in Mississippi.
I think.
Either that or something about Chester A. Arthur.

This is a message board. But he does run a business.
I have a business. I do not subject any of my customers nor suppliers with political information of any sort.
Ten to twenty percent of your customers will not like your opinion and find other suppliers.
Can you afford to lose ten percent of your customers over a joke?

Don't know. Some people can overlook the political jokes and/or propaganda.
I personally am not a fan of Palin, but I do not want to find out which of my customers would be offended.
Maybe when we are pushing $50M a year in sales, but not right now.
I have a supplier that is constantly reposting stories from progressive websites. I know several of her customers that have started purchasing elsewhere. ANother supplier is in the "birth certificate" crowd and is constantly posting comments concerning that issue. He has lost several customers.
It is not worth the headache.

The spotlight doesn't shine on it's own. You never hear from Joe because his stupidity doesn't fit the agenda of the mainstream media.
I'm not saying she's innocent, just that bagging on her is tired. She's no dumber than your average populist politician.

Right. One of them is the VP of the USA... the one that doesn't get the spotlight. The one that does get the spotlight is just a regular citizen. They stalk her. And Joe is just being Joe.

Actually, everything I say is kind of brilliant. You are the biggest JACKASS on BBB although you don't realize it because you have zero insight and judgment. I'm a conservative who thinks that conservative politicians are a joke (like you are). I defend your stupid brainless attacks on Obama because nobody else here is willing to call you out on your stupidity because they are afraid of your bullying tactics. Bush, Palin, Bachman, Angle are just paid whores for republican special interest groups. I do believe that all Americans are entitled to decent health care regardless of their medical history or ability to pay. I don't have a man crush on Obama although you might find that hard to realize given that you are constantly on your knees before George W. Bush. I don't have a favorite commentator although insanity does make me puke.
P.S. You are a Pussy.

Folks in Japan don't bow because of a superior/inferior complex. They bow because of etiquette.
Are you saying the Obama is the first American President that knows about etiquette?

So let's get this straight... based on salty's (il)logic -- I lived in Germany for 8 years; therefore, I know more about WWII than anyone else on this board. Is that how it works? You are truly a moron. Congrats.
No, but I bet that you know more about Germans and their culture than most who have never visited that country.

Nah, I just know the best places to drink beer and the best brands to buy.

I'm an American, so I certainly don't consider any Emperor to be superior to me. It's the way we're supposed to be programmed, because in this country we are supposed to be the masters of our own destiny and answer to God alone (unless, of course, we break the law....but even then we are not required to be contrite; we just pay the bill and move on).
As leader of the free world, the position of President of the US is infinitely "superior" to Japanese Emperor. Did the Emperor bow to Obama or any other US president in history?

I would try to be polite and show respect, but I certainly wouldn't bow to the extent that Obama bowed. The Emperor will not bow to anyone. He is superior to all in Japan.

During the opening ceremony of the olympics, the parade of nations, it has been tradition that the US flag is NOT dipped when passing the reviewing stand holding the leader of the host nation, and other dignitaries. I suppose obama will order that changed too....if he hasn't already.

I thought that the Olympics was a private outfit.
