2011 BB&B Bowl Confidence Contest

This one is always the fun one to do of the year. Here be the rules.

1. PICK the winner of each game.
2. Assign a number to each game.
3. The game that you are MOST confident in your winning selection should have a score of 32.
4. The game that you are LEAST confident in your winning selection should have a score of 1.
5. You MAY NOT use the same number twice. (If you submit it with the same number selected twice, you have to start over. VERY frustrating.)

I would recommend have a guide with you to make sure that you once you select a number to a game, you don't choose that one again.

Did you leave off the Las Vegas Bowl? What the heck?

Yes. The program only accepts 64 teams (32 games) out of the 70 (35 games). I had to eliminate 3 games and that was one that I choose. Since Boise is going to win that on by triple digits, I didn't care to include it.

For everyone else, I updated after Marshall's win tonight. Personally, I've missed on my 32, 31, and 28 games..... can we start over???

Unfortunately I'm right there with you. Not quite as many points but pretty bad. But, it's not a sprint but a marathon. I used the Vegas lines as a guide so it has to get better because they aren't consistently wrong.

Thanks DogsWin! I bet I was thinking that the coaching change at Pittsburgh would affect the way they played or prepared for the bowl game. Pitt started as a 7 point favorite, but fell to a 3-3.5 point favorite by the time the game began. I was surprised that so many of the leaders picked Pitt for the win.

I believe I was in 24th out of 25 going into the December 31st bowl games.

Wow. Dead last? I didn't do a very good job of assigning points values.

There was one person behind me before the New Year's Eve games. I assigned low values to many of the early games. It wasn't until the New Year's Eve and Day bowl games that I starting assigning 20-32 points for each game.
