Hope TE/WR Eddie Johnson's ankle heals up quickly. We will need his physical presence at NC St in a few weeks.

It ain't the quality of JFord's nice HD camera, but here's another look at Friday's first day in pads.http://youtu.be/qR2HfBAqPg0

Not to hijack the thread, but what is that ugly building across the street? I only miss one year of coming up and they build that thing.

I think you are talking about the new natatorium.

Apparently one of the equipment managers tossing the ball to the QB. Guess he forgot his sunscreen.

Eddie Johnson won't be playing against NC State

That "ugly building" you refer to is one of the new TECH campus apartments. Actually very nice.
Re: Football. Louisiana Tech Holds First Practice in Full Pads - latechsports.com
The apartments look nice. I believe, as rabiddog said, it is the new natatorium close to or part of the Maxie Lambright Center.

Nope. It's one of the UP buildings (apartments). I've always thought they were very "institutional." Nice, but not beautiful.

Has anyone driven by practice and seen the guys in the tall lifts with cameras. That job has to be second to holding the stop sign on a road job. It looks brutal up there. I always hope they remember their sunscreen and a bucket of hydration.

Say what? It's a brand new building, built in the campus antique style. And it's beautiful .
Ths just goes to prove that you just can't please everybody.

He's talking about the new natatorium, and it's definitely neither built in the campus antique style nor beautiful. Fifteen years from now everybody will be wondering, "What were they thinking building that ugly building right at the entrance of our campus?"
