Thanks, still never heard of it. It's not like brands of Tostitos, AT&T, Goodyear...even smaller bowls have better national brand sponsors in Popeyes, GoDaddy, Zaxby's.

Well I guess it will make sense to those watching TV and hopefully it won't make any difference to those who live in NW Louisiana as those who care about the game will be in attendance. By the way, I live in San Antonio and never heard of them either.

They sponsor Nascar truck series I think as well r least use too

I know you and others hate the IB, but this is a major sponsor. Just because it is not in Ruston doesn't make it unknown.

There are a lot of things we don't have. Despite having Shreveport and Monroe, we are really underdeveloped. I always get disappointed seeing some of the stuff out there that I want and think we could use.

Camping World is a big RV seller and does service on RVs. They have large stores spread across the US. I bought my RV through them.

Tim Fletcher tweeted about it. In a not so veiled dig at Duck Commander, he said that this will be a traditional sponsorship.

I figured Tim would pick it up shortly if the sponsorship was indeed true. I sent him the tweet in a Direct Message a couple hours ago. Now, he is responding on Twitter and Roy Lang wrote a story online on the Shreveport Times.

Had I been thinking at the time, I would have written a short piece about the tweet and posted it to LaTechReport.com first. Then I would have sent a DM to Tim Fletcher with the links to the short piece and the tweet. Missed opportunity.

Maybe they got smart this year and worked out a deal that will actually bring them in some $$$.

I would not mind Tech playing a bowl game in Shreveport as long as it is a good deal for us and offers something other than a Belt or MAC opponent.
