LHSAA Handling of Carroll

It will be interesting to see how “woke” the LHSAA will be regarding the Franklin/Carroll mess last week. Carroll coach(es) facing arrests. Stay tuned.

Have talked with several coaches who don’t allow language on the sideline, in the huddle, or in practice. Can’t regulate what they do at home, but foul language will land you on the bench or relegated to janitor duty(for coaches). Why show how uneducated you are by spouting nothing but 4 letter words? Then the fighting and hitting a cop on top of that. Great role models.

And this is not the first run in with this coach in this type of situation -

LHSAA rules expressly prohibit foul language in the press box

Carroll wants to pass it off as their "culture"

We have student workers running our cameras in our press box - mainly young females - we have a no tolerance policy visiting coaches for the most part respect this and we have no issues...

Why would you promote that as part of your culture. How sad is that?

Because that's who they are...

And what is not being discussed is why the coaches and Carroll fans came directly across the field during play - to me if the fans can be identified on film them should be barred from LHSAA sporting events for one year - ANY EVENT

I expected that. They think if they tell you it's "cultural", you can't do anything about it because you are not of that "culture". It's untouchable. I guess we'll see.

One year at a minimum just for entering the field. If any of them committed any unsportsmanlike acts while they were on the field, a longer ban than one year would be warranted.

I’m not sure the “obsessive use of profanity and assaulting police officers is part of our culture” argument comes across the way they think it comes across.

Now we have an all out brawl that broke out between Madison and Vidalia players. Looking at a load of suspensions.

Madison forfeited to General Trass, so they probably couldn't field enough players.

The talking heads on 97.7 had no clue as to why Madison had to forfeit, so once again BB&B is more in the know than they are.

I had heard they only dressed like 20 kids anyway. Lose a few and can’t play.

Not a good look when the Franklin Parish sheriff . . . THE Sheriff . . . has to stop by the hospital on the way home after the game to get some his ear reattached. Apparently one of the coaches went Tyson on him.

And they don't want to discuss how the "tone" is set by the head coaches in these programs -

Ask Guillory and Oak Grove what they think of the Homer program....

It's bad and getting worse at a lot of these schools

The LHSAA should of never overturned the Bogualoosa ruling this past week either -
