RUSTON*– The Louisiana Tech football team returns to its usual Saturday schedule, hosting the Jacksonville State Gamecocks for homecoming tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. The Bulldogs enter the Conference USA contest with a 3-5 (2-3 CUSA) mark, while the Gamecocks enter tied for first in the league with a 5-3 (4-0) record. LA Tech will look to move to 71-26-2 in homecoming games as they host Jax State in this 99th homecoming game against Jax State.

As bad as we are this year, I sure hope we keep Tru. His dad is probably the only reason he is here so I wouldn’t blame him if he transfers. Has the potential to be as good as his dad.

Defense...

Our D has played fairly well this season. Will be anxious to see how they perform today against Rich Rod's offense, especially their running attack, which is very, very good. Of course, any defense benefits from a good offense that can keep the ball, eat up clock, not turn it over putting the defense in tough spots...but alas, we ain't got that kind of offense.

I appreciate the hustle, but at that point, just let the fat man touchdown happen.

Offensive line is appropriately named. Tight end never even looked to the outside for the blitz. Kept looking inside as the defender ran right past him.

As always Jech’s lack of discipline is a notable factor. Surely these players aren’t saving up their backyard crap for game day. I have a feeling they do it all week and our coaches are too soft to stop it. Crumbie wouldn’t say anything to a player to scold him and risk hurting his feelings.
