Bad News is potential weather
Good News is DBU will be riding a bus and will be flexible on Sunday
DBU has been inconsistent this year. Have watched all or parts of about 10-12 of their games, and sometimes they look like they could beat the 1927 Yankees, and other times like they would lose to a SWACer.
Our all-time series with them is tied 17-17. I don't place much hope in this happening, but perhaps we'll be up 19-18 by the end of the weekend. I'll take that. They are sitting at 27th in the RPI (WKU is 35th).

Best crowd of the year. 30+ pitches in the top of the first is never encouraging. Then the offense shows out with 8 runs.
Give up 2 in T2, but get a homer in B2.

Strange play that our Jr High announcers don’t bother to research. Patterson gets hit in the head with a pitch but does not get the base.

Burroughs playing Safford up until his hitting matters and then he pulled him because he knows he can’t hit and not playing Comeaux more often is what lost the game. It was inevitable that we’d need Comeaux at some point and now he’s out of game form. It was just a matter of time and now the time has come. There’s going to be more of it too. It’s too bad because it takes a well rounded and deep team to be competitive at the top of the conference and in any playoff baseball and we don’t have that.

Continually talked about what a great game it was. Sorry guys 5 hours and over 30 runs is not good baseball.
They also did a special segment on what a great job the Tech production team is doing.
I think I'll find something productive to do today rather than watch and listen.
BTW, I really feel bad for the many fans who suffered through last night. It was a very well attended game.
I wonder when Aramark shut down to leave the fans without concessions...
I can say I hope we avoid the sweep, but in the big picture it doesn't matter anyway. Tech is looking at losing this series, both the WKU and Jax State series and will limp into the conference tourney where an early exit is likely.
Baseball is all about pitching. Ours has been mediocre, at best, and now even those arms are showing signs of wear and tear.
50 just crushed another homer in the 6th inning of game 2. Tech leads 9-3.
