I'm sure you noticed, if you were at the game yesterday, that their was LSU crap everywhere. LSU tents, jackets, signs, etc. This really ticked me off. Even where were we tailgating, a sign said LSU fans only. I also saw a guy wearing a tiger head and tail. I didn't know LSU was playing last night. Anyways just thought I'd throw that out there. Any comments about this. By the way GO DAWGS!

I'm as much an anti-LSU person as there is. And when we are in Ruston, rip it off their backs, tear down the tents, and burn the flags! But when we are at a bowl, even if we are in it, I'm just glad they are there. I'll cut them slack at the "neutral field" events, but don't bring that stuff to Ruston!

Walking into the stadium and I saw three people covered in LSU gear. Me and my brother walked by them and asked them if LSU was playing and a guy said, "No. Its La Tech vs N. Illinois." I don't think he got it that I was being sarcastic
The Awesome part was we outnumbered the LSU jerkoffs 12 to 1. There's a first for everything! This is AWESOME! WTG DAWGS..... 41,300. Pretty good crowd. I was happy across the board.
Guys, those idiots in the LSU gear being there was a good thing. Many of them were cheering for us. Those are the ones we are trying to win over. Maybe next time they will be wearing blue.
A lot of those "LSU" people went to the game, but a lot of them didn't. They were just there to tailgate. Those kids with daddy's LSU RV on Pershing looked like they were very glad that the game finally finished so the Tech people would come out to play with them again.

On a different note, on the front page of the Times today, there was an article that said a ULM alum is a die hard Tech fan (was in the middle of the article). I'll see if I can find the link.

Folks this is a VERY WORTHWHILE event in NWLA each year, all we do is TALK TALK TALK yet I see VERY LITTLE action on stuff like this -
That is the ONE THING I like about the landgrants - they are NOT afraid to wear their gear ANYWHERE -
There are a handful of us who do this each and EVERY year - come join the effort...
