That's good, 'cause I'll still be here in the grad program that never ends. I should have just gone to med school. You should NEVER let an 18-year-old choose your major. :bigcry:

I don't know. The student affairs administration made a promise, and there is a strong trust between the two. The difference between the athletic fee and this one is that the Change for Change fee is earmarked for a specific project. The athletic fee was a general fee to supplement the athletic budget. The board of regents has already approved the fee to be spent, too.

I would still make sure SGA does everything it can to make sure this will get done if it is passed. SGA will get the blame once again if it is passed and nothing happens. Not the student affairs administration.

NOTHING will stop this from happening if a majority of the students vote YES next week!
Re: Vote YES for CHANGE FOR CHANGE
I'd vote for it, hell I voted for the 20 for 20 and the extension of 20 for 20 and haven't seen a dime of that.

Awesome! Appreciate the support.
LSU just had a vote to renovate their student center at the expense of raising their student fees by approximately the same amount as us, but it got shot down by just over 100 votes!
Tech can't afford to vote this down!
Re: Vote YES for CHANGE FOR CHANGE
I'm voting yes, with a strong hope that this doesn't turn into another Athletics fiasco.

This is the view from what is now the parking lot between the Intramural Center and University Park and behind the intramural softball field. It would become the main entrance to the Intramural Center.

VOTE YES!
Re: Vote YES for CHANGE FOR CHANGE
Is it really gonna end up like that, though? Cuz I remember seeing some pretty awesome detail renderings like that for Tolliver AND U.P., and neither ended up quite like the drawings. Just curious though, cuz i'm still voting yes.
Re: Vote YES for CHANGE FOR CHANGE
Looks good BLUE!
I wonder if I could do a Triple Lindy from one of those diving platforms.

Not exactly, but very similar. It won't end up exactly like what you saw in Tolliver and UP, but it will be very similar. It will have all of the same content, but the architecture may vary some.
Re: Vote YES for CHANGE FOR CHANGE
Curious to know what is going to happen with intramurals. Will that be forced to one field? If I were a student I would still vote YES but just curious on where the games would be played. Is another field going to be built somewhere else?
