i will be very unproductive in the morning.
thankfully, the sports editor will be out of the office tomorrow. he's already said he doesn't mind me "working" in his office during the game. :)
Here is a little bulletin board material for the U.S. team and fans:
First, there was the Ghanian coach Dujkovic: "The USA will suffer because we are strong and not afraid of anyone." Dujkovic took the opportunity to critique Brazil's play, talk about how the Black Stars would match up and take one more veiled shot at the Americans. (The second place team out of our group will most likely face Brazil)
"Facing Brazil, well, you know the Ghana Black Stars have a nickname, the Brazil of Africa," he said. "So that will be a great match, two Brazilians."
Then, midfielder Michael Essien: "We'll go for a win against the United States and our chances are good."
Back home, even Ghana president John Agyekum Kufuor got in the act, saying: "We've beaten the second-best team in the world, who else is left?"

The CR team they played was not the #2 team in the world, and not even the same team the US played. 2 of their superstars were out of the game one of which Jan Koeller is one of the best players in the world.
We will see how Ghana reponds with their 2 top scorers out. I think the Africans on a whole have played very well in this Cup, but they run their mouths way to much.
That's the spirit! :laugh:Quote:

Anyplace we can watch or follow it online?
Where I work, our lobby has a big plasma display with the game on. BUT NO SOUND! I am trying to find a radio feed on the Internet so I can listen to something along with the video.Quote:

I found an English radio feed at this website:

It's only audio, but if you can't watch then it is better than nothing.
0-1
Reyna went down, and Ghana had a one-on-one and finished it.
Italy is doing their job. 1-0
Ben Olsen subs in for Reyna.
This is the first time Claudio has been replaced in World Cup games.
1-1 GO USA
