Every CUSA baseball team but UTSA has either lost or is losing to go 1-5 on the night (3 games rained out). UNO is hammering USM on Senior Night in Hattiesburg 14-9. The Privateers (24-28 record, 170 RPI) have about 25 hits and USM is down to their last 3 outs.
Game over. USM's RPI will drop to around 47 (where Louisiana Tech is at currently).

I would think USM saved their best arms for this weekend.
USM fans have been saying all year they were short on pitching. They were short on pitching last weekend. Hope that keeps up going into next week. Being the 3rd place team could work to our advantage depending on when they have to throw Sandlin again. Only our coach would save him for game 3.
