Re: Baseball. Diamond `Dogs Host SIUE in Weekend Set
We have the opportunity to make up for it big time next weekend. TX A&M is undefeated and #10 ranked. All of their games have been played in College Station. Cal and Baylor are both beatable.

Lots of talent. Very young which is hurting us at the plate, but not on defense. Our pitching has been great so far, but we are about to play some good bats so we'll see if it holds up.
IMO, base running/base coaching mistakes are our biggest problem right now.

I expect us to go ohfer next weekend. Hope I'm wrong.
UConn played a series at Southeastern this weekend. Too bad we couldn’t have scheduled them.

Let’s try not to get embarrassed by NWST before we start worrying about next weekend. You better believe the Demons have had this game circled for a long time.

I was THE ONE, and ONLY ONE, who questioned hiring this guy. My point then was there was nothing on his resume' that warranted his hiring at Tech. He had only moderate success at NSU and NEVER reached the NCAA's as HC. As I recall he was an assistant at USM where they enjoyed some success. Of course I was summarily bashed for merely questioning his pedigree.
As for the Demons circling a Tech game, that is true across the board. Doesn't matter the sport either.

The way to do this is to
HIT FRIGGIN BASEBALLS in the first 7 innings!
Those ULL guys should never umpire any of our games, but if Tech actually has a working scoreboard, maybe he doesn't "accidentally" lose count. Major fail by Tech's admin, facilities management crew for our scoreboard to not be working. That screw up was a momentum changer.

I just glanced at last year. Pepperdine was 195. SIUE was 229. We were 47.
